In winter, even a quick trip to the supermarket leaves my hands cracked. My hands are cold all day, and my fingertips split like cracked heels. - I discovered this product 14 years ago (as a high school freshman) on the recommendation of a local cosmetics store. - In my 20s, I switched to organic and natural products, stopping use of this. But after 10 years, I realized nothing else compared. It's truly amazing. Nothing helps regenerate skin better when applied before bed. It even outperforms treatments for middle-aged cracked heels! When my fingertips are so painfully split that daily activities become difficult, applying this before sleep results in noticeable regeneration by morning. Although the cycle of cracking continues throughout the day due to frequent hand washing and my naturally cold, dry hands and feet. - ★Application tip: Many say it's thick, but after washing your hands, don't dry them with a towel. Instead, shake off excess water and mix the cream with the remaining moisture. It absorbs completely after a while, unlike Vaseline which leaves a residue. - The best organic alternative I found was probably Badger's Calendula Balm? It's better than Fucidin, but doesn't absorb as well.
Cons- After applying, when I use my phone near my face, the scent is overpowering. Checking the ingredients again, I see there's no added fragrance, yet it's so strong. It makes my nose burn and causes sneezing. I've become sensitive to scents after using natural & organic soaps, shampoos, and cosmetics for 10 years. Maybe I should only apply it right before bed after using my phone. - While applying, I can't help but imagine paraben particles entering my nose. Despite this, its effectiveness makes me think of it every winter. - When this runs out, I might try Badger's Calendula Balm again.
