This is a matte-finish foundation with excellent coverage. It might be a bit challenging for dry skin, but I recommend it for combination dehydrated skin like mine or oily skin types. However, to prevent dead skin cells from flaking or wrinkles from being accentuated, it's important to apply a proper base before using this product! I have a 23 shade complexion, and the No. 2 Natural Beige is on the lighter side for a 23. Still, it has a yellow undertone which makes it look natural. It's great at covering most blemish scars and imperfections. It also naturally covers redness and has decent adherence. It used to be frequently sold out and hard to purchase, but I'm not sure how it is these days. While the quality seems decent for the price, the longevity was poor and the way it breaks down isn't pretty. Oil tends to come through especially in the nose area, so you need to touch up with powder. The matte finish makes it a bit difficult to touch up makeup. It's also disappointing that it contains 5 ingredients of concern. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2019
The coverage was practically non-existent, but it adhered to my skin better than I expected It separated terribly, and the color was too yellow for my complexion. Make sure to double-check the shade before purchasing. Also, it broke down quickly, which was disappointing - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 15, 2019
I bought shade 1 Light Beige, and it has a very fluid consistency. The coverage was... good. It's not the type that provides super thick, full coverage, but it's more like a foundation that lightly conceals most pores. The adherence is great - it sticks to the face like sticky rice cake. It applies smoothly and feels soft on the skin. While it didn't cause any blemishes, it does break down easily and the staying power isn't particularly impressive. There was some transfer, and how should I put it... it tends to leave imprints? That kind of feeling. The color was also darker than I expected, which was a bit surprising. If you think your skin is really, really, really dark, you might be able to use shade 2. But for most people, I'd recommend shade 1. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 3, 2018
The coverage is pretty decent and it lasts quite well. As someone with extremely oily skin, I found that applying it with a puff gave a nice matte finish. When applied with a damp puff, it tends to slide around a bit. The worst part is how it emphasizes dead skin cells when it starts to break down. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 7, 2018
As someone with a cool undertone whose shade varies slightly with the seasons, usually between 18-21, I tried this foundation after friends recommended it. The price point is reasonable, and you get a generous amount. I bought two during a sale. Initially, it feels like a thin, hydrating formula, but it dries to a soft, matte finish with impressive coverage! With my combination skin, I notice oil buildup in my T-zone over time, and it doesn't wear off very gracefully, which is a bit disappointing. Despite being cool-toned, even the 21 shade looks quite dark on me, and I've been told it has a noticeable yellow tint. I think I had overly high expectations for a full-coverage foundation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 12, 2018
The coverage is decent. The packaging is simple, and the size is compact and slim. Is darkening for real? I thought only BB creams darkened, but this is shocking.. The staying power is just so-so, but it breaks down unattractively and even darkens.. Don't use this product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 20, 2018
Great coverage and when your skincare base is solid, it adheres perfectly for a flawless makeup application If applied too thickly, it's guaranteed to separate and break down messily - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 15, 2018
As someone with typical combination skin... 1. Even with a thin layer, the coverage is impressive for its price point. It covers small pores well, and you only need a small amount. 2. Upon application, you can feel a matte finish that's perfect for summer use. 1. It darkens when it breaks down (the biggest drawback). It doesn't break down gracefully with oils blending nicely, so you must blot excess oil before touch-ups. 2. The staying power is less than expected... Maybe it's due to different base products, but while others reported 5-6 hours, I only got about 3 hours. Especially noticeable darkening on oily areas like the nose. 3. I use shade 21, and while I chose the color myself, it feels slightly darker than my usual shade 21, perhaps due to yellow undertones. (However, the coverage isn't bad) 4. As expected from a matte foundation, there's some caking. A beauty sponge is a must. Update 6/4: On 6/2-3, despite early summer heat waves and some sweat (though not too humid), with a slight breeze, the staying power was impressive. After applying toner twice, followed by a generous amount of soothing gel on the U-zone and a thin layer on the T-zone, then sunscreen, I applied a small amount of foundation with a damp sponge. From 10 AM to 9 PM, I only touched up my nose and butterfly zone twice. One time was just because I was concerned about where my glasses sit, even though it hadn't really broken down. While I'm not sure how it'll perform in peak summer humidity, I'm feeling less regretful about my purchase now. As it's a matte foundation, it should work well for oily skin in summer. However, for slightly dry areas like cheeks, you might experience some redness and blemishes if you don't prep your skin thoroughly. I've found that lightly dampening your sponge with water, mist, or setting spray and then bouncing it on your skin seems to improve the longevity. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinApr 25, 2018
I'm so happy I found a cosmetic product that's absolutely perfect for my skin There wasn't anything particularly disappointing, but if I had to pick something, it did tend to break down in areas where my skin produces more oil - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 12, 2018
My skin texture looks incredibly smooth... Personally, I found everything about it to be great The downside is that it breaks down too quickly, and the scent is so strong it might make you dizzy If you apply it over a solid skincare base, it really absorbs well
