I think this modeling mask will become a staple in my routine.
ConsIt's a bit tricky to use at first... But I think it'll get easier once you get the hang of it.
TipThe amount of water you use is really crucial. Make sure to apply it to your face quickly before it starts to set.

It gives a tightening sensation on my pores and spreads well even with a small amount.
ConsThe downside is that it's difficult to control the water content and it's a bit cumbersome to use.

Discovered this after researching various products. Bought it 4 months ago and use it at least once a week. Purchased the 1kg size with the bowl and spatula. ** The cooling effect is amazing~!! Bought it for pore care, and now I understand all the hype. The cooling effect as soon as you apply it is just 👌 They say applying it upwards gives a lifting effect, so I tried it. Hmm... not dramatic, but maybe a slight effect? I felt a subtle difference. Seems great for calming the skin too. Especially good when your skin is red or irritated. While it's great for soothing, it doesn't seem particularly effective for blemishes. (Though that might be due to wearing a mask daily...) ** Recommended for skin soothing and pore care~!!
Cons** The most annoying part is having to mix it before use. ** When I first used it, it hardened too quickly and solidified while I was still applying it to my face. ** I heard it's more effective if you moisturize before applying the modeling mask, so I used oil, but then the mask wouldn't stick to my face... ** If you don't apply it thickly around the edges of your face, it's hard to peel off
Tip** About the mask not sticking when I used oil... I experimented and found that using a watery serum or thin ampoule works fine ** Exfoliating before using the modeling mask makes it even better for pores ** Mixing 1.5 cups of water with 1 cup of powder is just right for one use~!! Adding a tiny bit more water gives you a little more time before it sets. It often starts to harden while you're still applying it to your face.. You'll get the hang of the ratio after a few tries ** When removing the edges, gently rubbing with a cotton pad soaked in cleansing water makes it a bit easier to take off

It gives a tightening effect on the pores and the cooling sensation is absolutely amazing.
ConsThe price is too steep, it's around $40... I knew modeling masks were expensive, but I recently found out there are many affordable and good options out there. I'll try to buy a cheaper one next time... It's also difficult to apply evenly by yourself. Seems like modeling masks need someone else to apply them for you.
TipYou need to get the water ratio right. I use a 1:1.2 ratio of powder to water, which seems to work well. That's about 50g of powder to 60ml of water!

It reduces skin heat and leaves your skin smooth after use. It also has a pore-tightening effect. I used it a lot in summer, and now during the seasonal change I'm using the d'Seng gold pack, but personally I prefer the spirulina one.
ConsYou need to be careful with the water ratio, I guess? I'm not sure if I just have a strong stomach, but I didn't find it nauseating at all.
TipIt's good to apply right after cleansing and toning. For serums, it's better to apply them beforehand rather than mixing. You can also leave a sheet mask on for about 10 minutes, remove it, spread the remaining essence on your face, and then apply this rubber mask.

It seems particularly helpful for hydration and pore tightening in summer. Though the initial purchase price is high, the generous amount actually makes it more cost-effective than other masks in the long run. It's great to have a stash on hand.
ConsAdmittedly, it took some time to get used to the spirulina scent at first.

My skin tends to get hot easily, which leads to enlarged pores, redness, and blemishes. This rubber mask provides a cooling effect that really helps calm down these heat-related issues.
ConsIf you're prone to laziness, I wouldn't recommend this. You might use it a few times at first, but then it might end up collecting dust because it feels like too much effort...
TipThey say that when your skin temperature rises, it can accelerate aging. This is a must-have for those with naturally warm skin or as a soothing treatment in summer.

I regularly visit the dermatologist, but since I'm not taking medication, I keep getting blemishes. So I thought I needed some home care too. The nurse at the dermatology clinic recommended a modeling mask, so I decided to give it a try. After using it for over 3 months, I can't say it's prevented acne or made it better, but it's been great for other things. When I use it after extracting blemishes or getting laser treatment, or when my skin is irritated, it seems to tighten my pores, cool down the heat, soothe my skin, and make it feel firmer! My makeup goes on better the next day too, so I've been using it about twice a week. They say that facial heat can cause acne, so I think this mask is really helpful in that aspect! They say mixing in an ampoule improves absorption, but honestly, I can't tell much difference when I add one. I plan to keep using this product in the future!
ConsI expected dramatic results before buying it, but that was my mistake. Realistically, how much can a single product do? It's just a good product to use consistently without high expectations! I didn't experience any blemishes or side effects at all!
TipDon't use too little water. A powder to water ratio of about 1:1.2 seems to be just right!

It even helps calm down my blemishes!
ConsAt first, I found the smell unbearable when using the mask. I've gotten used to it now, but it's still challenging when the fishy odor is particularly strong.
TipThe Hwahae Testers recommend using this mask as part of your daily mask routine for combination dehydrated skin to maintain that Inner Glow.

It seems good for pore management. It'll probably be even better to use in summer.
ConsIt's expensive... I expected a soothing effect due to the cooling sensation, but I'm not sure if it's working.
TipMany people say it's drying, but that happens if you don't add enough water. The rubber mask is supposed to release moisture and hydrate the skin, but if you mix in too little water because it's hard to apply, it won't be effective. Try a ratio of powder to water of 2:3~4. Of course, it's much more hydrating when the water ratio is 4. Even after wearing it for two hours, you can feel so much hydration that it seems like water might drip off when you remove it.
