  Pros

  I bought this for the cooling effect, which is especially nice in summer. It makes my face feel refreshingly cool.

  Cons

  I purchased it after hearing all the hype, but aside from the cooling sensation, I'm not sure about its pore-tightening or brightening effects. What's worse, it has a strong seaweed smell. Once I finish this, I'll have to go back to using Sidmool products.

  Tip

  Use it as a soothing mask after cleansing, following a volcanic ash or oily skin pack.

  Pros

  I have oily, acne-prone skin that's been giving me a hard time. I regularly visit the dermatologist, but since I'm not taking medication, I keep getting blemishes. So I thought I needed some home care too. The nurse at the dermatology clinic recommended a modeling mask, so I decided to give it a try. After using it for over 3 months, I can't say it's prevented acne or made it better, but it's been great for other things. When I use it after extracting blemishes or getting laser treatment, or when my skin is irritated, it seems to tighten my pores, cool down the heat, soothe my skin, and make it feel firmer! My makeup goes on better the next day too, so I've been using it about twice a week. They say that facial heat can cause acne, so I think this mask is really helpful in that aspect! They say mixing in an ampoule improves absorption, but honestly, I can't tell much difference when I add one. I plan to keep using this product in the future!

  Cons

  I expected dramatic results before buying it, but that was my mistake. Realistically, how much can a single product do? It's just a good product to use consistently without high expectations! I didn't experience any blemishes or side effects at all!

  Tip

  Don't use too little water. A powder to water ratio of about 1:1.2 seems to be just right!
