I've always used Lin XX, but when the esthetician director said she uses Desanbre, I switched over. But the cooling sensation is extraordinary...! The soothing effect is also amazing, and whenever I'm overwhelmed, I always reach for Desanbre first.

Whenever my friends come over, I make sure to give them a try, and they all end up adding it to their shopping carts before leaving. If you don't buy it, you're crazy.

The downside is that it hardens faster compared to other modeling packs. Other modeling packs can be revived by adding water once they harden, but this one becomes somewhat clay-like, making it difficult to revive.

Normally I only use inexpensive modeling packs, but this time I had the chance to try one out. At first, I thought it was a burning sensation, but it turned out to be a cooling sensation. Although spirulina is said to be good for soothing and recovery, while the cooling sensation was nice in relieving skin heat, I didn't really feel much of a soothing effect. Maybe the menthol ingredient was irritating to my skin, or the high moisture content felt excessive for my oily skin. After using the mask, my skin condition seemed even worse. I felt like my pores were clogged and small bumps were starting to appear.
There was also an unpleasant fishy smell every time I used it.
Considering the price, the benefits didn't feel significant enough for me to repurchase.

The product has great moisture, cooling, and application properties.
It spreads well and is easy to use. Even after removing the mask, the inner side still feels moisturized, and it does a good job of locking in the moisture from the serum/ampoule applied.

 1. Since I have a small face, I only use one scoop of the product, and I add a little more water to it.
2. The more modeling pack you use, the better it applies and peels off your face, but if you want to use just the right amount for your face, you can watch the video of Youtuber Soeui on how to apply the modeling pack. You can apply it like me by making a round shape at the end of the pack. (Watching the video makes it easier to understand)
3. If you have any leftover disposable hyaluronic acid eye drops, you can add them, or you can add one pump of a moisture ampoule. I use the Toridoll moisture ampoule from Hwahae, and it makes my skin very hydrated. But you don't necessarily need to add the moisture ampoule, as the Desanbre modeling pack is already very moisturizing.
4. When I buy the Lindsey modeling pack, I really like the pack ball and spatula that come with it. There is also a rubber ball, but it's too big, so I haven't been using it.
5. After the 20-minute pack, do your full skincare routine, and then wipe off the rubber pack residue on the pack ball and spatula with a wet wipe. Don't rinse it down the drain, as it can clog the pipes. Wipe it all off with wet wipes, and then you can rinse with water.
6. I apply the COSRX Peptide Skin Booster, then the Vitamin C 23, let it absorb while drying my hair, apply the modeling pack, leave it on for 20 minutes, then apply the Niacinamide Ampoule and finish with a cream.
Or, after showering, I apply the toner, then a hydrating or cica mask, dry my hair, pour the remaining pack essence into the pack, apply it, leave it for 20 minutes, then apply Niacinamide or Retinol, and finish with a cream.

 The only downside is that the price is quite expensive. It's genuinely great, really amazing.
My mom keeps telling me to use it together, so I'm planning to share it with Lindsey to get better value.

And for beginners, it can be a bit tricky to get the water ratio right, as unlike Lindsey, Desembre doesn't mix immediately when you add water, and instead becomes a bit chewy (?) so you have to knead it while mixing it in. Those who have tried it will know what I mean... And while Lindsey's powder mixed in really well, Desembre's powder, despite being fine, didn't dissolve as easily, so I had to scrape the bottom of the bowl to mix it in. You can see the powder clumps in the second photo.

 I've tried the 1kg 2-pack Desanbre modeling pack, and here's the review from an expert:
The Desanbre modeling pack is definitely worth the price. It's incredibly refreshing, with a chilled sensation that's not just a surface-level coolness, but a deep, penetrating chill.
My mom and I have sensitive skin, and this pack worked really well for us. I use cold purified water when doing the modeling pack, and even 20 minutes later, it's still cold when peeling it off. My face ends up looking so pale, almost like flour!
Not all modeling packs are this chilling - I tried the Lindsay Calendula modeling pack yesterday, and while it felt cool when applying, it didn't stay cold during the process. I'll be saving that one for winter.
For summer, I'll be sticking with the Desanbre modeling pack for sure. The Itaka one is just too expensive.

I use this after volcanic ash or sebum control pack, followed by cleansing and a soothing face mask.

I have really struggled with acne due to oily skin.
I go to a dermatologist regularly, but since I haven't been taking medication, my acne has persisted, so I thought I needed some home care.
My dermatologist recommended a modeling pack, so I looked into it and ended up buying it. After using it for over 3 months, I haven't seen any major improvements in my acne, but when I use it after extracting pimples or after laser treatment when my skin is irritated, it seems to tighten my pores and cool the heat, making my skin feel plump and refreshed!
It also seems to help my makeup apply better the next day, so I use it about twice a week. Since acne can be caused by facial heat, this product seems really helpful in that regard!
They say mixing it with ampoules can improve absorption, but I'm not sure if I've noticed a big difference after adding ampoules.
I plan to continue using this product!
