I hadn't used it for so long that I just started applying it liberally to use it up before it expires. It accentuates dead skin cells and makes my skin look dry and dull rather than dewy. Since no one else wanted to use it, I'm trying to finish it quickly myself.

It tends to emphasize dead skin cells when skin is a bit dry. Instead of brightening or adding radiance, it leaves a dull and dry feeling. I have a fair complexion, but this product doesn't provide any glow. It falls somewhere between Espoir Face Hydrating Compact and Bio Fond, but it's overpriced and doesn't deliver value for money. There's really no standout feature worth mentioning.

If I had to find a positive aspect considering the price, I suppose the case might be worth mentioning.

I have a lot of sebum on my nose but nowhere else. When applied to the nose area, it really emphasizes the pores, and on smoother parts of the face, it pills and doesn't absorb well. I tried applying it with the included puff, other sponges, and even my hands, but it still pills a lot

The complexion it gives is brighter than other products, so when applied to the T-zone, it's like using a highlighter

The application is terrible, and the product quality is so poor that I can only think it's protected by the Chanel name.

The case is really small, and so is the mirror. The hinge doesn't open very wide, and the case feels a bit flimsy - it often doesn't close properly. You need to apply it with a rubbing motion rather than patting, and the coverage isn't particularly good.

I decided to try this solid foundation after only using cushions. The case was smaller than expected, and the color looked natural! However, if your skin isn't in good condition, it can emphasize blemishes and pores. On well-exfoliated and hydrated skin, it applies smoothly. I found that rubbing it in works better than patting. Being beige-toned, it offers some redness coverage. I bought it for touch-ups, but since it can look patchy when reapplying, I've been using it for initial makeup application instead!

As for coverage, I'm not so sure... It might work well if you already have good skin. It's really just moisturizing.

Try applying it with a Pony Effect puff instead. It's a game-changer!

This is definitely a love-it-or-hate-it product. It's essential to test it in-store before buying. If you have uneven skin texture or prominent blemishes, it might be challenging to use. Those with combination dehydrated skin are likely to feel increasing dryness over time. As someone who applies facial oils year-round, I find it emphasizes dead skin cells in winter, and the dryness becomes more noticeable as time passes. I can't use it except in spring and summer. Given its eye-watering price, you might want to consider other products that give a good skin finish without breaking the bank.

This is the secret to that plump, smooth, peeled-egg skin texture! I've bought this at department stores, duty-free shops (twice!), and even stocked up on refills. It's a product I've used consistently.

It works great when used together with the Shiseido Spot Cover Foundation.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the puff. I applied it with a brush and then gently patted with an air puff to blend out any brush marks, which gave a perfect finish.

I used it with a Missha oval brush since I didn't like the included puff. It makes my complexion look incredibly smooth and radiantly beautiful.

The puff... oh, the puff... it sticks to the mirror. They could have designed the case structure more elegantly. It's not very hygienic, but I guess that's unavoidable with compact foundations.

First off, there are plenty of options for different skin types, and it's incredibly hydrating. You can really see why it's Chanel. This is all you need - nothing else necessary. When you factor in the coverage, it's truly unbeatable. In summer, I often need to reapply, but I just think of it as putting on sunscreen... you can keep layering it without any pilling.
