First off, it's gentle and non-irritating. Being a gel type, it's neither drying nor oily - that's probably its biggest advantage. It claims to regulate skin temperature, but since I don't have particularly problematic skin, I can't really speak to that effect. The best part is you can stock up on multiple bottles at a relatively affordable price from iHerb. Some say its cleansing power is weak, so I wouldn't use it alone on days I wear makeup. I use a cleansing water first, then follow up with this as a second cleanser. It's perfect as a gentle, non-irritating second step! Also, the scent is quite natural, which I love.
ConsIt's become my go-to product, so I honestly can't think of any downsides. Maybe the fact that it's hard to find in Korea? You can buy it from the mentioned online store, but it's not available in our local drugstores, which is a shame.
TipPro tip: Since it's a gel type, make sure to use a generous amount for a good cleanse. If you use too little, it might not feel like it's cleaning well. Also, the bottle is quite sturdy - I've taken it on trips and it's never leaked, despite its somewhat flimsy appearance. Just wanted to reassure you on that front!

I really like how mild it is and that it doesn't leave my skin feeling squeaky clean.
ConsWhile using this product, I didn't particularly notice any standout benefits. I used it without any issues, but if I had to point out a downside, it would be that it didn't leave a lasting impression.

I'm 100% going to repurchase. Being a gel-type, non-foaming cleanser, it's less drying than other foam cleansers. After washing, my skin feels soft rather than squeaky clean. It has significantly calmed my acne redness. I wish I had a whole box of this at home!
ConsSince it's a gel, every time I squeeze it, there's a squelching sound from the opening - like a wet you-know-what. Apart from that, no complaints. Don't expect this cleansing gel alone to exfoliate; use AHA/BHA exfoliants separately, and you'll find this cleanser is a holy grail product!
TipApply the emulsion to your dry face, massage it in circular motions with your fingers, then gradually add a bit of water to your hands and continue massaging. The idea is to slowly dilute the product with water as you cleanse. Rinse off, and it's heavenly!

It's fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and oil-free, so I thought it would be super gentle. The texture is incredibly soft! After use, there's hardly any squeaky-clean feeling - it leaves your skin feeling smooth and hydrated. Most importantly, it doesn't aggravate existing blemishes or cause irritation, which is why I highly recommend it for super sensitive skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and can't use just anything, but this product feels truly gentle.
ConsWell, those who feel uneasy about non-foaming cleansers might find this a bit different.
TipI'd suggest using it after cleansing with a gentle micellar water or cleansing milk for best results!

Also, the removal of parabens that were present before the reformulation makes the ingredients pretty decent. I don't consider SLS to be particularly bad because it provides good cleansing effectiveness. However, I wouldn't recommend it for extremely sensitive skin (like those who react immediately to Perfect Whip) or dry skin with low sebum production. For me, with excessive sebum in the T-zone and normal oil production in the U-zone, I need something that can effectively remove excess oil.
ConsWhile I used to use a pea-sized amount of Paula's Choice cleanser (it was also expensive...), with this one, using a larger amount about the size of a 500 won coin gives better results. I experimented and found it cleanses more effectively this way. It's also a bit disappointing that the benzoyl peroxide content is somewhat ambiguous.
TipYou can use it by squeezing out a generous amount, and it's quite affordable if you buy it from iHerb.

Gentle and rinses off smoothly. Even when I use it as a second cleanse after oil cleansing at night, there's no trace of makeup left on the toner-soaked cotton pad.
ConsThe presence of sodium laureth sulfate is a bit concerning. I wish they'd remove it like they did with parabens. Although I haven't had any adverse reactions so far, other Eucerin cleansers have left my skin feeling dry.
TipThey've removed all the parabens that were in the previous formulation!

However, its cleansing effectiveness was excellent, and the best part was that it didn't irritate my eyes. Even though I have super sensitive skin and this has more potentially irritating ingredients compared to others, I was able to use it gently.
ConsI came to Hwahae and was shocked when I looked at the ingredients. I can understand some common ingredients, but to think it absorbs into the skin and reaches the blood vessels... I just repurchased this, but after using it, I'm too scared to buy it again.
TipThe cleansing effectiveness is so good that it even removes most eye makeup. I don't have any special tips to share about it.
