Among all the lip masks I've tried, this one works the best. It comes in a tube with a toothpaste-like consistency, making it super easy to control the amount. It applies smoothly and evenly on the lips without clumping. You can use it as both a lip balm and a lip mask. For the lip mask, I squeeze out a generous amount and apply it thickly. The sticky texture helps it stay on the lips for a long time. It even lasts until the next morning after sleeping, and after use, you'll notice your lips are silky smooth. When using it as a lip balm, I chose the reddish tinted one. By applying a small amount in a gradient style, you can achieve a very natural, healthy-looking lip color. It lasts longer than regular lip balms and provides amazing hydration, making it perfect for wearing under a mask with bare skin or light makeup. The biggest downside is that it's become difficult to purchase this specific product. You can only buy it when traveling abroad, and this particular line has been discontinued. They discontinued it to change the ingredients and then relaunched it, but I remember the international reviews for the new version weren't great. Also, it costs $26. While it works wonders, it's not exactly a budget-friendly price for a lip balm. Moreover, when you use it as both a lip balm and a lip mask, you'll find yourself running out of it pretty quickly. - ba*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2020
Listen up, everyone! This used to be my holy grail product, but I need to give you a heads up. Bite Beauty completely revamped their line to 100% vegan formulas in 2020, so the current products are only the same in name. It's crucial to know this! If you can get your hands on the pre-2020 version, it's absolutely amazing and works wonders. As I mentioned, the products released from 2020 onwards might share the same name, but they feel like completely different items. They don't even have those natural, flattering reddish shades anymore. Currently, there are only two color options available, and honestly, the shades are quite disappointing. The effectiveness is also lacking... It's such a shame. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 27, 2019
It has that mask-like feeling, so I think my lips will feel better the next day I had an allergic reaction... I almost died when I woke up with hives on my lips the next morning. - ma*****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 23, 2018
I love that it's safe to eat! Honestly, you can't help but ingest a little lip balm, but this one tastes sweet, which makes it even better. Plus, the amount is more than I expected, and since you only need to apply a small amount like an ointment, it lasts a long time within its expiration date. After prolonged use, the outer surface gets worn out and fades. To keep it in its original condition as much as possible, you shouldn't throw away the packaging. Also, while it's magenta in color, it appears as a deep pink on the lips and feels quite heavy, so it's not ideal for daily use. True to its name, if you apply it generously like a mask on your lips before bed, your lips will feel plumper and more rejuvenated the next day, giving you that honey-like smoothness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 22, 2017
I've been repurchasing this for 2 years now, as my lips used to crack badly and no other lip balm worked. After finishing one, I loved it so much I bought two more - one for the bathroom and one for my handbag. Applying it whenever I can, my lips don't crack at all, even in winter. It's made with agave, which provides exceptional hydration. I tried the tinted versions too, but they weren't as good, so I stick to the original. Each tube lasts about 3 months, and I've probably bought around 10 by now. It doesn't have SPF, so it's great to apply generously before bed. If my lips are super dry with dead skin cells, I just apply this, gently rub with a tissue, and voila - smooth lips! Usually, lip glosses make my lips itchy, so I rarely used lip products. But if I apply this after my emulsion, my lips are in perfect condition for makeup by the time I'm ready. When traveling, I always pack this along with hand cream. My husband, who typically hates anything on his face, becomes docile when I apply this to him. I keep a stock at home, fearing it might be discontinued. First off, it's a bit pricey for a lip balm. At Sephora, it's $26, and with tax and shipping, the price climbs even higher. Since the brand hasn't entered the Korean market yet, it's even more expensive here. This isn't really a flaw, more of a product characteristic, but due to its high hydration power, the texture is slightly thick. Sometimes, if you have long hair and it's windy, your hair might stick to your lips. If you're traveling to the US or Canada, make sure to pick this up at Sephora. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinFeb 11, 2017
I decided to try this product after hearing that the ingredients are so good, they're practically edible. The texture is incredibly rich, which allows it to absorb well into the lips and last longer than other lip balms. As someone with extremely dry lips, I'm thrilled with how it creates a protective barrier and keeps my lips hydrated. It's truly satisfying! As I'd heard, the thick consistency makes it challenging to squeeze out of the tube. I'm using all my strength to get the product out, and I'm a bit worried that the sides of the tube might burst from the pressure! I've been using a small amount, applying it with my fingers, and using any excess on my hands or cuticles. I've seen some people transfer it to a jar for easier use - that might be a good solution if you find it difficult to squeeze out each time. - ad*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJan 24, 2017
If you apply a little bit of this before bed, your lips will be moisturized the next day and any lipstick you put on will glide on smoothly! During the day, you can squeeze out a tiny amount - about half the size of an ant's dropping - and apply it before lipstick. I've tried various lip balms, but none absorb as well, last as long, or avoid the yogurt effect like this one. The other day, my lips were slightly cracked and sore, but after applying this before bed, they healed quickly. My skin is atopic, combination, and sensitive, with both oily and dry areas prone to blemishes. Even though this contains natural oils and butters that might not be great for oily skin, I didn't worry much since it's for the lips, and I've had no issues. It's fragrance-free and really great! Above all, Bite Beauty is the brand I trust most for lip products in terms of ingredients, and with its effectiveness, this product is truly a favorite. The tube's opening is too small and gets clogged after a few uses. I ended up using a sterilized disposable blade to make a larger cross-shaped opening. It didn't leak afterwards. It would be more convenient if the tip allowed for direct application to the lips, but since you only need to use a tiny amount and it lasts so long, maybe squeezing it out like an ointment is fine... I haven't repurchased yet because it seems to last forever, even with regular use. Really, just apply a tiny amount and gently pat it in. I remember once I squeezed out too much without thinking and ended up having to use the excess on my hands...
