  Pros

  Personally, this is my holy grail product! I've already gone through 4 bottles, if you can believe it! As someone who loves the radiance of shade 21, I found the pink base not overwhelming at all - it's just perfect! (I'm a big fan of the VDL foundation in A02 overall.) The skin finish is something special - it looks dewy without being greasy, has a beautiful glow while still having a slight powdery feel. I love it! The cream formula is a godsend for my dry skin, which is actually combination with an oily T-zone. Despite being a cream, it wears beautifully throughout the day. Even touch-ups are a breeze with no caking. It's become my absolute go-to for everyday wear!

  Cons

  In the sweltering summer heat, it can break down a bit more, especially around the nose. In winter, it holds up much better without cracking, but in summer, a primer is an absolute must!

  Tip

  For application, I usually use a flat foundation brush or a puff from Daiso. However, with this product, I found the best method was to gently spread it with my fingers first, then finish with a puff. The cream texture works well with hands (but no rubbing, of course!).

  Pros

  This cream foundation has a dense texture, making it great for covering uneven skin texture. It doesn't apply too thick, though. I usually use it with a wedge puff, and it creates a beautifully smooth skin appearance. I'd recommend it to those concerned about skin texture and unevenness. It's a moisturizing type that gives a glow, but for my combination skin, it wasn't excessive or greasy. It has just the right amount of hydration and radiance for fall and winter use. As for settling into wrinkles, after a few hours there's a slight creasing around smile lines, but it's not cracking badly - only noticeable up close. A quick pat usually fixes it, so it didn't bother me much.

  Cons

  Like most foundations, it tends to break down with heater air. I noticed it separates and lifts when exposed to car heater air.

  Tip

  In my case, I used it together with the VDL Lumilayer Primer, which really enhanced the skin texture appearance.

  Pros

  I like how smoothly it applies. The coverage is pretty decent too.

  Cons

  Every time I use this product, I get tiny bumps... For me, it tends to settle into fine lines, and the way it breaks down isn't very flattering.

  Tip

  Like most foundations, I find it works better when applied in thin, multiple layers!

  It's a decent product without any standout pros or cons. It's moisturizing and applies well with either a sponge or brush. The coverage is average. It suits my skin whether it's having a good or bad day, so I've been using it daily. However...

  Cons

  First off, the jar packaging is a bit inconvenient to use. The staying power is somewhat lacking, especially if you don't set it with powder - it tends to break down quickly.

  Pros

  This foundation applies smoothly with a moisturizing feel, yet it's not completely lacking in coverage, making it convenient to use. If you have a lot of blemishes, you'll definitely need a concealer. But if not, you can achieve a clean base by applying it lightly all over and then giving extra attention to areas with imperfections.

  Cons

  It seems to be somewhat tool-dependent. I haven't tried it with a brush, but when applied with fingers or an air puff, it tends to dry out over time and break down in an unattractive way. Also, since it comes in a jar, you need to be mindful of hygiene.

  Tip

  It worked perfectly with a damp Real Techniques sponge. For daily use, I'd recommend applying it lightly to brighten the complexion, then using the sponge with a bit more foundation to focus on areas with more blemishes, like the cheeks. This method works great for everyday wear.

  Pros

  It applies thinly, allowing for a natural skin appearance. The foundation itself has a watery, gel-like texture that feels hydrating. It creates a really beautiful skin finish. It's more of a dewy feel than just moisturizing...?

  Cons

  The coverage is quite low (it doesn't hide the capillaries on my cheeks...) and it settles into wrinkles when it breaks down. You can notice it creasing in the nasolabial folds, between the brows (sigh), and around the mouth (frustrating). It also somewhat emphasizes pores. Oh, and the biggest drawback is the packaging. I really wish they'd make this with a pump dispenser - it's unhygienic, inconvenient, and wasteful as it is now... (fuming)

  Tip

  Please, please use a dry sponge to pat this on. If you use a damp sponge, you'll have the novel experience of making an already hydrating foundation even more wet

  The coverage and adherence are excellent. It gives a radiant look. I love how it applies in a thin layer.

  Cons

  However, the longevity is disappointing. It doesn't last long, and when it fades, it doesn't do so gracefully. I find myself only using it when I'm in cool environments.

  I prefer applying it with a regular puff rather than a damp one.

  The one thing I can say for sure is that the shade matched well. The coverage is medium to high?

  Cons

  I have combination dehydrated skin with mild blemishes and sensitivity. I saw someone raving about this, and since it's a bit dry in winter, I grabbed it quickly. During testing, they said it was more moisturizing than Perfect Lasting, with better coverage and staying power. But oh boy... While I'm prone to acne anyway, this brought out some nasty blemishes. Instead of hydration, it was an oil explosion, and when it broke down, it was just gross... ugh! After using it for a month, I couldn't bear to throw it away, so now it's collecting dust in the back of my closet. When I asked about it at another store, the sales associate straight-up told me it's too rich for oily or blemish-prone skin... I felt even more disappointed hearing that. If only I'd met this honest sales associate first, I could have saved both my money and my skin... (feeling emotional)

  It's moisturizing and absorbs really well! I didn't notice any new blemishes popping up.

  However, when it breaks down, it does so in a messy way, and the coverage seems a bit weak. The packaging design makes it not very portable. I accidentally spilled it while carrying it around. It tends to settle into fine lines easily!
