This is an absolute holy grail... I got this lipstick by chance and it's completely... mind-blowing! 1. Color: When applied fully, it's the perfect burgundy shade I love - dark and vibrant without being too harsh. Though with my skin tone (about #13), a full application might be a bit much. For a bold gradient look, it's truly the best product! My friends are obsessed too. 2. Matte finish: I've heard most matte lipsticks can be quite stiff, but this one applies surprisingly smoothly! It even works well for gradients. 3. Dryness: Being matte, some dryness is expected. At first, it feels fine, but after about 2 hours I usually apply some lip balm. It's not easy to find... Please bring it back to stores... I'm begging you! Apply the gradient past the middle of your lips for a bolder look. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 18, 2018
A burgundy shade that's perfect for fall. When it's buy-one-get-one-free, you can snag two for just 10,000 won - what a steal! Even though I don't usually have dry lips, by evening I notice dead skin cells appearing after applying this. If you apply a nude lipstick first and then layer this on top, you'll get compliments on your beautiful lips wherever you go. - Hwahae UserOily SkinDec 1, 2016
The color payoff was great, and it really captured the burgundy shade I was looking for. It's a beautiful color for winter, so I used it throughout the entire season. By the time winter was ending, I still had about 3cm left. For the price, it's a great lipstick - affordable and a generous amount. There wasn't really anything I disliked, but I did notice it faded a bit and left a pinkish tint behind, so keep that in mind. Since it's a matte formula, a lip balm is a must! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 13, 2016
Since it's a color cosmetic product, even considering that to some extent, the ingredients are good. How can they make a lipstick without pigments? The color that's a mix of burgundy and gochujang red is appealing. The burgundy with a bluish undertone doesn't suit me, so I wanted to wear it like this. The magnetic closure of the Apieu True Lipstick is addictive. The color is strong. Full-lip application is difficult, so I can only use it for point gradient purposes. And when applied, it clumps up a bit. The swatch photo in the second image came out too orange-orange, but in reality, it's just a tad more burgundy. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 15, 2016
As I have a warm-toned complexion, I tend to prefer deep red lipstick shades that don't lean too pink or orange. Luckily, a friend gifted me this lipstick, and I've been pleasantly surprised - the color is absolutely gorgeous, and it doesn't emphasize any flakiness. For those who love matte lipsticks and suit deep burgundy or rich red tones, I highly recommend this one! :) It seems to be getting used up a bit faster than I expected. I'm trying to use it sparingly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2016
I would recommend Hailey if you're looking for a product with a toned-down pink-burgundy-red color blend. The color payoff is great. The emphasis on flaky skin can vary depending on the condition of a person's lips - I'm satisfied with it. The Macchili budget option doesn't seem to be the case...haha the color is completely different. Since it sold out quickly at the store, I could only refer to the Apieu website image, which showed a dark red shade. But when I received it, it was a pink-burgundy-red, which was a huge disappointment... It doesn't have great longevity and my lips get dry and cracked quickly. I'd recommend applying Vaseline regularly and properly caring for your lips. That way, the gradient effect will look much nicer! - Hwahae UserOily SkinJan 17, 2016
I tried swatching this new product when Apieu had a sale, and it completely hit the mark! I usually love matte lipsticks and burgundy lips, and this one has all the features I love! Since it's a matte lipstick, the longevity and adherence seem better than glossy ones! And it's affordable too^^ Since it's a matte lipstick, I wouldn't recommend it to those who dislike the dryness. But it's not too... If you apply it with a gradient from the inner lips, you can achieve a burgundy lip look without an overpowering effect! Topping it with a gloss can give you both the matte and glossy lip look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 12, 2015
I really like the matte finish, it looks great. The color is a beautiful blend of burgundy and marsala. It makes my face look very fair. And the magnetic closure keeps it from getting loose. There is a bit of feathering along the lip line. The matte finish doesn't create the most seamless gradient, but the color is still pretty enough to make it worth it. Applying a little lip balm helps prevent any cakiness or feathering, making it look even prettier.
