I bought this on recommendation at the A'pieu store, as they said it's similar to MAC's Chili. To be honest, it's a bit different from MAC Chili, but still a beautiful red lip color. The adherence isn't bad, and the price is very wallet-friendly, which is great! The staying power seems a bit weaker compared to other brands. Moreover, it's such a matte lip that it really emphasizes dead skin cells on the lips, so you absolutely must apply lip balm before using it. The application is also a bit stiff, which is disappointing. This shade is also available in lip pencil or tint form, so compare well before making your purchase! - Hwahae UserOily SkinJan 10, 2018
It brightens up your face. A nice product if it matches your complexion. I usually don't repurchase the same item, but the color was so pretty that I bought it again after losing the first one. Great for those who love brick-toned shades. It felt dry on my lips. It accentuates dead skin cells. After application, it only remains on the lip line later on. It might work better if you apply lip balm to smooth out dead skin cells, gently wipe with a tissue, then apply. Using a lip brush could improve the application even more. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 19, 2017
I received this as a gift for the Wonder Tension Pack Cover Version launch event. It's definitely not chili... I don't know how they could have spread such a rumor... haha It has excellent adhesion and good color payoff, but I've never actually applied it directly to my lips because the color is so pigmented and applies so well. I just dabbed it on lightly like a stamp. It also has decent longevity, but it does transfer. The intense color means it stains well and the transfer is quite noticeable. I imagine lighter shades would stain less... I'll upload a photo of the color. Personally, I think this is a really great value lip product. I've heard Espoir's lips are really good, but these are just as good, if not better. If you like the color, just go for it without hesitation. Of course, there are differences between matte and gloss formulas. It was a bit too intense for me. It just doesn't suit my face... haha Being a matte formula, it applies a bit stiffly. The stick (satin type) has more intense color payoff and a more moisturizing feel. It applies more smoothly, and the cool-toned burgundy+plum shade would suit cool-toned skin. The lipstick (matte type) has better adhesion, but is more matte and less creamy in application compared to the stick. It would suit warm-toned skin better. Compared to the chili, it has less of a brown tone. Just a burgundy 10 vibe.
