The color payoff is absolutely stunning! It's exactly the red shade I was hoping for. Unfortunately, it's quite matte, which causes some pilling. It also tends to accentuate dead skin cells, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 25, 2018
I bought this on recommendation at the A'pieu store, as they said it's similar to MAC's Chili. To be honest, it's a bit different from MAC Chili, but still a beautiful red lip color. The adherence isn't bad, and the price is very wallet-friendly, which is great! The staying power seems a bit weaker compared to other brands. Moreover, it's such a matte lip that it really emphasizes dead skin cells on the lips, so you absolutely must apply lip balm before using it. The application is also a bit stiff, which is disappointing. This shade is also available in lip pencil or tint form, so compare well before making your purchase! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 4, 2018
It's such a steal when you snag it on sale! Apieu is all about that bargain-hunting thrill. The warm-toned red deserves a standing ovation. It's a safe choice, but its matte finish means it stays put like a champ. When you've got dead skin cells, any matte product tends to highlight those flakes, unfortunately... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 4, 2018
The color is absolutely gorgeous - a deep, rich red that's bold without being overwhelming. I wear it every day! The staying power is a total letdown. This lipstick fades almost as quickly as a water tint. It's extremely matte, so I have to prep my lips with balm or moisturizer and apply it with a lip brush. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinFeb 8, 2018
This is the most beautiful color among all the lip products I've tried so far. The pigmentation is fantastic, and it applies evenly. It tends to transfer easily onto cups. It's a bit matte, and the staying power isn't particularly impressive. If you mix it with a long-lasting product, it can actually last quite a while. - Hwahae UserOily SkinOct 2, 2017
The color is absolutely gorgeous! I bought this True Matte Lipstick after trying Hailey's other lipsticks, tints, and lip crayons, as I found this to have the most beautiful color. I have a yellowish and dull autumn warm-toned complexion, but this lipstick suits me perfectly. My lip color looks so pretty, and I've received many compliments. This seems to be the perfect choice for autumn warm-toned individuals like myself. The color is a true red, but it also has a cherry-like undertone. It's truly a universally flattering and gorgeous shade. It's almost too matte, bordering on crayon-like. The flaky, peeling texture is a disaster, and the product just crumbles around the edges when I apply it... The color itself is stunning, but the formula is just so drying and parched. If anyone knows of a similar color that isn't as drying, please let me know in the comments. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 28, 2017
The color is really beautiful! I would recommend it if you like deep, rich colors. It's quite matte, so lip balm is a must. I have to apply lip balm first before putting this on. I can't wear it without lip balm.. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2017
This lip stick in the shade of dried rose is perfect for warm-toned skin! As a lip product enthusiast, I rarely repurchase items, but I did for this one! It glides on smoothly and makes it easy to create a gradient look, plus the color has a brightening effect on the skin tone. It works better in the fall than summer, and my friends all asked what lip product I was wearing and called it my 'holy grail' lip color. Among matte lipsticks, this one isn't overly matte and has a nice, hydrating feel to it! While it glides on easily, it also wears off quickly, so the longevity is not great. Since I don't have much in the way of lip lines or flakiness, I didn't notice much emphasis on those issues, but those with more pronounced lip texture may experience some accentuation due to the matte formula. If you apply it more heavily on the inner part of the lips and blend it outward with your fingers, you can create a nice gradient lip look. Also, if you have any lip flakiness, it's a good idea to exfoliate your lips before applying this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2017
The color payoff is really the color I love the most ㅜㅜㅜㅡㅠ I've been using it diligently, but it's almost used up, so I'm going to buy it again. It's my must-have pouch item! My lips are so flaky, maybe because it's matte... the flakiness is accentuated... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2017
The color is a reddish-brown shade, I'd say! I used to worry that it would look outdated, but now I'm using it so beautifully♥ I layered it over my usual color base as an accent, and I think it looks really pretty. The magnetic case packaging is just so nice♥ As expected, lipstick amounts to a bomb-level amount when used up, haha. And the downside is that since it's a matte type, there's some transfer and a bit of flakiness? For a matte, the flakiness is not great ㅇㅁㅇ
