MacQueen New York's Waterproof Pencil Gel Liner #03 French Latte A softly shimmering pearl-infused soft brown Glides on smoothly from inner to outer corner without any gaps · Easily and quickly achieves desired thickness and shape · Quick-dry film formula for rapid setting · Resists smudging from oil and moisture all day long Finishes cleanly for defined and striking eyes · No smudging even when rubbed immediately after application · Removes easily during cleansing · Gentle on sensitive eyes, which I really appreciate. A soft gel liner in a sharpenable format Doesn't dry out quickly · And it sharpens like a regular pencil. You'll need a sharpener. The ingredients are so good, it's a holy grail product. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 14, 2020
The application is incredibly smooth. My eye area is sensitive and I struggle with stiff products, but this glides on effortlessly, which I absolutely love. I'm using shade 4 Arabica Latte - you can blend it immediately for a soft, eyeshadow-like effect, or wait 5 minutes for it to set completely without any smudging. The price is fantastic. While the regular price is listed as 6000 won, it's constantly on sale for 2200 won, and I've seen it drop as low as 990 won. The price really makes up for any shortcomings. It's also super easy to remove - it takes just 5 seconds with a drugstore cleansing water. Removal is a breeze! It's incredibly soft - almost too soft. I'm worried about how to sharpen it without it crumbling. The size is also smaller than I expected. For a natural shimmer, blend immediately after application. If you prefer no smudging, let it dry for about 5 minutes and it won't budge even when rubbed. This versatility allows for various uses. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 29, 2019
The softness actually reduces eye irritation, allowing for smooth application without worrying about wrinkles. I loved that it needs to be sharpened with a pencil sharpener. Unlike other auto-pencils that you can never use up completely and gradually harden, sharpening always reveals a fresh, soft pencil tip. It doesn't smudge once it's dried sufficiently. I've been repurchasing this for years, but the downside is... as you sharpen it down to a stub, the density of the pencil part decreases, leaving small air bubble-like gaps in the core. So right after sharpening, the core might break off as soon as you apply it to your eyes. The worst part is when you can't find where it fell and end up smudging it. You have to freeze, carefully locate it, and throw it away. If it gets smudged and sets on clothes or desks, it won't come off! Sharpen it to a blunt tip and apply it at an angle rather than vertically. It's hard to find something this good at this price point. I've been using this product for about 4-5 years. French Latte is #3, which I apply thickly, then use #2, a deeper brown, to draw a thin line over it and fill in the waterline for a beautiful gradient effect that makes eyes pop. Right after application, it's easy to smudge, so even makeup beginners can create a nice look by gently blending if they make a mistake. It's great because it doesn't dry immediately, giving you just enough time to make adjustments before setting. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinSep 28, 2019
The staying power is truly top-notch! It doesn't smudge or fade. I absolutely love it! It breaks easily, gets blunt quickly, and the amount is quite small. Those are the downsides. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 24, 2019
I've been using this eyeliner for ages, and it hardly smudges at all. It glides on so smoothly, making application a breeze. Sharpening it can be a hassle. Since it's so soft, sometimes the product comes out while sharpening. I think I might need to buy a special sharpener for it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 19, 2019
It glides on smoothly and while there's some smudging, it's minimal. I've tried both the black and brown shades, and I must say, the brown is gorgeous! I love how the pearls in it sparkle. You can snag it at a great price when it goes on special sale on social media platforms. Since it's not an auto-type, you need to sharpen it. However, it's so soft that it keeps breaking while sharpening. I'm not sure if I'm just not controlling my strength well. In any case, I end up wasting more than I use. Even after carefully sharpening and trying to apply it gently to my eyes, it crumbles and breaks. It's such a waste! Due to how easily it breaks, I won't be repurchasing this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 22, 2019
The waterproof feature is incredibly powerful! Even after crying at the movies, it doesn't smudge at all. I've been using it for years and enjoy all the different colors. It's even better that I can find it at a great price on social media platforms. The lead is a bit fragile. It tends to crumble when sharpening, and if you try to sharpen it too thinly, it breaks easily. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 15, 2019
It doesn't smudge. Isn't that all we need? While most formulas of this type boast about not smudging once they dry, this one truly doesn't budge. What's impressive is that before it sets, it still allows for excellent smudging and blending. It's incredibly soft, to the point where it breaks while sharpening. Even after carefully sharpening it to a point, it snaps off easily when trying to draw a line. My technique is to first apply a base shadow, then use a liquid or brush pen to create the tail. I follow with shadow (for color), then the (McQueen) liner, and blend the shadow. Once it's somewhat dry, I go back with the brush pen to touch up any uncovered areas near the tail end. This method works wonders for preventing smudges. I'm sure many of you are familiar with this approach! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 10, 2019
It truly doesn't smudge at all! Once it's completely dry, it stays put, which is absolutely fantastic! While you can draw thick and medium lines with this, I found it a bit challenging to create thin, delicate lines... Make sure it's fully dry to prevent any smudging! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 27, 2018
It absorbs so smoothly and doesn't smudge. It's definitely a great value for money! However, once it gets blunt, even sharpening doesn't help... so frustrating!
