The softness actually reduces eye irritation, allowing for smooth application without worrying about wrinkles. I loved that it needs to be sharpened with a pencil sharpener. Unlike other auto-pencils that you can never use up completely and gradually harden, sharpening always reveals a fresh, soft pencil tip. It doesn't smudge once it's dried sufficiently. I've been repurchasing this for years, but the downside is... as you sharpen it down to a stub, the density of the pencil part decreases, leaving small air bubble-like gaps in the core. So right after sharpening, the core might break off as soon as you apply it to your eyes. The worst part is when you can't find where it fell and end up smudging it. You have to freeze, carefully locate it, and throw it away. If it gets smudged and sets on clothes or desks, it won't come off! Sharpen it to a blunt tip and apply it at an angle rather than vertically. It's hard to find something this good at this price point. I've been using this product for about 4-5 years. French Latte is #3, which I apply thickly, then use #2, a deeper brown, to draw a thin line over it and fill in the waterline for a beautiful gradient effect that makes eyes pop. Right after application, it's easy to smudge, so even makeup beginners can create a nice look by gently blending if they make a mistake. It's great because it doesn't dry immediately, giving you just enough time to make adjustments before setting. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 20, 2018
The color is deep and it applies smoothly without irritation. It's easy to apply. It's a bit thick and heavy. And it smears like crazy. The waterproof effect is completely gone. I bought it on sale, but I'm not using it because it smears. My skin is oily and has a lot of oil and moisture, and even though I do powder touch-ups carefully, by evening it's smeared like the grim reaper... Horrible. Don't use it if you have moist eye areas. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 25, 2017
I've been using it for about 3 weeks now! It has good spreadability and isn't irritating, so I'm using it well! It can fill the mucous membrane in a flash~ Hmm.. it's a bit smaller than I expected.. It seems like I'll use it up really quickly, which is a shame ㅎㅎ I have dry skin, and there's a bit of smudging under my eyes, I guess..?? To reduce smudging~ As everyone knows, apply the powder thinly, and then! Finish by lightly dusting on the eyeshadow with a very thin brush~^^ - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 21, 2016
It's a soft formula that's as good as a liquid, even though it's a pencil!! That's why I can draw on the mucous membrane without much irritation, and I've been using it for 5 months with love♡ But since it's soft, when I used it to line the eyes, it smeared a lot.
