- Skin type: A complex skin that's dry but becoming sensitive with blemishes like milia. Fine lines appear around the eyes when smiling, and nasolabial folds are deepening. - Product features: Comes in a tube container with a cooling tip applicator. The content is a white cream with an emulsion-like consistency. - Pros: Despite 'honey' in the name, it's not thick but an emulsion that absorbs well and isn't sticky. The tube packaging is hygienic. Lasts longer than expected. - Cons: The cooling tip is too wide and more irritating than expected, causing redness around the eyes after massaging. Insufficient for preventing eye wrinkles in late 30s. (I don't regret purchasing this product as I needed something less rich and not too irritating when my face was breaking out with milia acne. It's a good product for those in their teens and twenties to use lightly.) An eye cream suitable for those in their teens and twenties. When massaging with the cooling tip, careful application is necessary. - kg*****Dry SkinFeb 27, 2019
It feels moisturizing when applied. That's literally the only good thing about it. There's nothing else worth mentioning except for the hydration. The day after using it, the area around my eyes became red, swollen, and tingling. I immediately threw it away. I'm not sure which ingredient is causing the problem, but it's clearly not compatible with my skin. I had to apply a skin ointment because of the burning sensation. Sigh... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2018
It's a decent product that's easy to use! Don't expect any dramatic results though. The cooling tip? That doesn't seem to help much. It feels pretty pointless, to be honest. Make sure to apply it to your forehead, between your eyebrows, and your smile lines too! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 14, 2018
It feels incredibly refreshing and cool when applied around the eyes. What a soothing sensation! A few days after using this, I noticed an odd tingling sensation around my eyes. The skin beside my eyes became red and irritated, and it was extremely itchy. It seems this product doesn't agree with my skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 22, 2018
It's pretty decent! I'd consider repurchasing, and the price is reasonable too. The container size is just right and the price is okay. Can't really think of any downsides.. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 27, 2018
I was drawn to purchase this product because of the metal applicator tip. The real advantage is that it stays cool even when stored at room temperature. It's great for massaging the eye area. However, there's a risk of the cream getting into your eyes during application. While this might be due to the generous amount, using the metal tip seems to prevent proper absorption into the skin. I end up finishing the application by patting it in with my fingers to help it absorb. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 13, 2018
I love that it has a cooling effect and you don't even need to apply it with your hands! Every time I massage it in, I feel like my wrinkles are smoothing out. It's a bit disappointing that it's so light. Since it's an eye cream, I wish it had more hydration... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 30, 2017
Hello there! Today I'm bringing you a review of Etude House Honey Cera Priming Eye Serum! Anti-aging products are all the rage these days, aren't they? So I've got a review of an eye cream, one of the most popular anti-aging products people are interested in. Let's dive in! 1. The cooling tip is a real honey of a feature. It gives a nice massage, and when I wake up the next day, my eyes are noticeably less puffy. As someone whose eyes tend to swell easily, I love it! The cooling tip feels so refreshing, it puts me in a good mood every time I massage under my eyes. It's so invigorating! 2. The scent is genuinely like real honey. I wouldn't recommend it to those who dislike honey! It has a fragrance that makes you feel like your skin is going to improve. 3. I'm on my second tube of this. That's how good this product is. 4. Looking at some other reviews, I noticed some people experienced small blemishes, but I didn't have any issues, so I've been using it with satisfaction! 5. The cream texture feels a bit firm, which is typical for eye creams, but it absorbs well. It doesn't just sit on top of the skin. 1. This didn't happen with the first one, but when I used the second tube, I noticed the box containing the eye cream had faded in color. I thought there might not be any defects, so I opened the lid, but there was something greenish on it, possibly the eye cream contents...? It seems to have turned green due to age. It looks like there might have been an issue during storage or manufacturing. It's disappointing that the quality control doesn't seem to be thorough. However, when I actually used this defective product, the contents in the tube seemed normal. Remember to always clean the cooling tip after use! If you don't, it can become unhygienic and potentially harmful to your skin. When massaging, alternate between the bone right under your eyes, the side of your nose bridge near the inner corner of your eyes, and your brow bone. This helps reduce eye puffiness! It's refreshing and mood-lifting. See you in the next review! - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 29, 2017
I had 5 sample kits at home, so I gave them a try. That's why I'm not sure about the cooling ball applicator. Personally, I think samples are more hygienic. 1. Light texture: Compared to the existing anti-aging lines from Amore Pacific (IOPE, Mamonde, Innisfree) and Etude House, this eye serum has a lighter feel and is suitable even for those in their 20s. It's not thick like an eye cream, but rather feels like it's applying a thin protective layer. 2. Convenient packaging: The long, slim tube is great for carrying in a pouch. The full-size product also seems much more hygienic than pot-type containers. Just remember to wipe the nozzle after use. 3. Long-lasting hydration: Although it's not specifically for night care, it's perfectly moisturizing when used before makeup. Since I used the sample, I think it would be fine to apply it all over the face... Even though it's an eye serum, make sure to apply it to your smile lines too! As always, the active ingredients are on the lower side. Think of it as a simple moisturizer. Phenoxyethanol should be present at less than 1%, so ingredients listed after it are negligible. (This applies to skincare products in general, not just this one. In this eye serum, the only ingredient after phenoxyethanol is fragrance!) Personally, I prefer the body care line over the Honey Cera skincare line. I heard at a Japanese department store that for anti-wrinkle care in your 20s, it's enough to just keep wrinkle-prone areas well-hydrated rather than trying to actively improve them. Instead of using very oily moisturizers, it's better to frequently apply products that won't cause milia. For wrinkles that have already formed, consider professional treatments... So far, I've been using it without any issues. I really like how quickly it absorbs and its pleasant scent. The disappointing part is that I haven't seen much effect. It's supposed to improve wrinkles... but maybe that's because I've only been using it for a week.
