First off, it absorbs well. Since it doesn't contain alcohol, it's likely great for sensitive skin. When applied, you can feel a thin protective layer forming on your skin. I've been using it for about a year now, and I'm satisfied because I haven't experienced any blemishes with this emulsion. I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin types. While it provides good hydration, the feeling of strengthening the skin barrier or creating a film might be too heavy for oily skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 1, 2018
Although I haven't been using it for long, I feel like my dead skin cells have significantly reduced. I was worried it might be irritating, but surprisingly, there's no tingling sensation. I think I'll continue using it. The opening is quite large, so you have to be careful when using it. There were times when I almost poured out too much toner at once. It makes me use it very cautiously! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 10, 2018
First off, this product is very good for managing dead skin cells. I used to have a lot of flaking, my makeup wouldn't sit well, and my skin wasn't smooth. But after using this, I don't have to worry about dead skin cells anymore! The lack of a cap is really disappointing. It's difficult to control the amount, and I end up spilling almost half of it. Instead of using the 7-skin method or focusing on absorption, apply it with a cotton pad. It's perfect for toning! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2018
I had a bad experience with Clinique's alcohol-based toner before, so I was skeptical when I heard about this new alcohol-free version that still exfoliates. But I decided to give it a try! The experience has been really pleasant - it's a solid, no-frills product that focuses on its core job as an exfoliating toner. It doesn't irritate my sensitive, thin skin, and it seems to prep my skin nicely for the next steps in my routine, helping essences and serums absorb better. I don't have high expectations for toners in general, so I keep repurchasing this one for its great value. I haven't found anything better at this price point! Unfortunately, when you open the bottle, there's no separate cap or stopper, which makes it tricky to control how much toner comes out. If you're not careful, it's all too easy to spill it everywhere! This astringent toner is great for those with thin, super sensitive skin! For best results, don't dry your face after cleansing. Instead, apply the toner to a cotton pad and gently wipe it over your skin. This method helps remove dead skin cells without causing irritation! - bu********Dry SkinSensitive SkinApr 20, 2017
It's great that it's not irritating and doesn't have an alcohol smell. Before, when I used Twice A Day, I had to hold my nose while using it. I think this is better, even if it's a bit weaker at removing dead skin cells, rather than stripping away all the dead skin and exposing the inner layers of skin. Sometimes I wish this product could provide more hydration and leave the skin feeling a bit more moisturized. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 5, 2017
As someone with super sensitive skin, I found this surprisingly gentle. It didn't seem to cause much irritation. To be honest, while there weren't any major downsides, I can't say there were any standout benefits either. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 29, 2016
A suitable toner for daily skin texture refinement. While alcohol-based toners can exfoliate but tend to be too harsh, and alcohol-free toners are gentle but may not effectively address stubborn dead skin cells, this product strikes a nice balance. It's gentle yet effective in smoothing out the skin's texture. To put it kindly, it's a decent product, but there's nothing particularly outstanding or disappointing about it. - mi*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 6, 2016
As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts to the slightest mismatch, this product was perfect for me. It's alcohol-free and incredibly gentle. I don't think this product is particularly outstanding in terms of effectiveness. For example, it doesn't seem suitable for treating blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 16, 2015
Highly recommended for oily skin types! It leaves your skin feeling soft and powdery smooth. It might be a bit drying for those with dry skin. Also, if you have sensitive skin, you may experience a slight tingling sensation at first. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 15, 2015
I bought this for my blemishes, and it works wonders. I've been repurchasing and using this product exclusively for 4.5 years now. There's not much to complain about. Just keep in mind that it's more effective when used in summer rather than winter.
