This toner is perfect for sensitive combination dehydrated skin. It contains an ideal ratio of aloe vera extract, propanediol, glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, and dipotassium glycyrrhizate. I even appreciate that they used xanthan gum instead of carbomer. While Awesome has a lemon balm line too, I found the aloe toner suits me better. I'm only using the serum, emulsion, and cream from the lemon balm line. The lemon balm products are richer, so for my skin with deep dryness, using the lighter aloe toner followed by the richer lemon balm emulsion and cream creates the perfect balance. As it's a light formula, you might feel unsatisfied if you only apply it once. However, if you pump generously and apply it three times in succession, followed by an emulsion cream, the hydration lasts all day long, making it a highly satisfying product (for combination dehydrated skin). If you have mildly dry skin with deep dryness or combination dehydrated skin, you'll likely be satisfied using it this way. But if you have dry skin with surface dryness too, this product alone won't be enough - you'll need to add another essence. The more you layer this product, the more hydrated your skin becomes, so applying at least three layers worked best for me. Even with multiple applications, it doesn't pill or cause pilling. - je*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresFeb 27, 2017
I don't use it now, but a few years ago I used the aloe vera skin toner and emulsion together. Thinking back to when I used them, they were neither good nor bad - just neutral skincare products. I didn't particularly feel like my skin texture or blemishes were improving, but then again, I didn't experience any issues like excess oil or extreme dryness after application. They were truly neutral cosmetics... At the time, I bought them to improve my acne and used about 2-3 bottles for over a year, but there wasn't any significant change. I was swayed by the 'organic' label and thought it must be good for my body regardless of whether I saw benefits or not. Then at some point, it seemed like my skin had outgrown these products. During seasonal changes, my face erupted with tiny bumps and blemishes. After that, I realized I needed to look beyond just organic products and started searching for other functional skincare... - os********Combination SkinJan 4, 2017
When I used this while my skin was sensitive due to severe blemishes, it really soothed my skin. The finish was clean and pleasant. It felt a bit lacking in nourishment, so I went back to using the Jeju Olga line from the same brand, Awesome. - hb******Normal SkinMar 29, 2016
I'm using this and I like how gentle it is. It's almost like water, but feels different from anything I've tried before. The scent is unique too. My younger brother has combination skin with acne on his forehead and nose, and after trying this once, he asked me to buy it for him. Hmm... it's not bad at all. It's great for those who dislike sticky products. However, I have combination skin that's a bit dry on the cheeks, and when I only use this, I still feel somewhat dry. It's not bad, but I don't have that 'Wow, this is amazing!' feeling yet.
