I started using this for my sensitive skin with redness, and I love how it leaves my skin moisturized without any irritation. Unlike regular serums that tend to run, this one has a heavier texture that seems to lock in hydration for longer. I don't have any complaints yet... While it hasn't completely eliminated my redness, I'm quite satisfied and using it regularly. - al*************Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 15, 2019
My skin is generally dry, but I've been struggling with extreme redness and sensitivity in my T-zone and nose area. On the recommendation of a sales associate, I decided to give this product a try. It's effective for redness! While not immediate, after about a month of use, I noticed a significant reduction in redness. The hydration is also sufficient. In summer, I can apply just this before makeup. In drier autumn and winter months, this paired with a light moisturizer prevents makeup from pilling and works great. The quantity is generous for an apple essence, and a little goes a long way, making it quite cost-effective. Highly recommended for those with redness issues. However, if you have extremely dry skin, this alone might not be enough - you may need to use an additional moisturizer or oil. The same goes for those with severe deep dryness. - dl*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 8, 2019
While it doesn't eliminate redness completely after just a few uses, there's a noticeable reduction! I've used it before and now I'm starting again - I think I'll stick with it this time. In the past, I used it with makeup, so I might not have fully appreciated its effects. I wonder if there's any other product out there that reduces redness as effectively as this one. It's slippery, rich, and expensive. However, it's worth investing in and putting up with the inconvenience because it really does reduce redness. Where I live, it's getting colder, so in the morning I apply it alone, and at night I layer it with tea tree gel, Rosaliac, and a hydrating moisturizer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 24, 2018
Hello, those with flushed skin!!! Be sure to try this product. I've found my holy grail product!!! I have combination skin that is sensitive and prone to redness, and whenever I use regular cosmetics, my skin gets irritated and the redness worsens...On days with drastic temperature changes, my skin would flush like a drunk person's, but!!! After using this product, people were amazed at how much my redness has improved! The price is a bit high, but for me, it's a grateful product that has reduced the redness that never seemed to subside no matter what I used!!! Since my skin is extremely dry, I can apply this serum and two creams generously, but for those with oily skin, you may want to use a smaller amount...Those with sensitive skin!!! Give it a try. Even with my sensitive, irritated skin, I'm very satisfied!!! The price is a bit high. But since it effectively reduces redness, I'm purchasing it during sale periods. I live abroad, so I don't have difficulty obtaining the product, but...I'm not sure if it's widely available in Korea... Currently, I'm using this serum, the soothing cream from Zero-id, and the Avène Cicalfate Cream. I'd like to recommend this combination to others with sensitive, dry, and red-prone skin!!! It doesn't feel heavy on me and has worked well. However, on drier days, I also apply a moisturizing cream, but there's a slight heaviness to it, so some adjustment may be needed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 1, 2018
Skin Type: Combination - Cheeks are normal to dry T-zone is oily. Incompatible Ingredients: Hyaluronic acid, butters, oils, and acids seem to be a bit irritating as well. Using incompatible products causes my skin to flare up within a day, and frequent dermatological treatments have made my skin extremely sensitive. 😢 It's so incredibly difficult to find cosmetics without hyaluronic acid... 😢 So I couldn't use anything, which only made my skin extremely dry. That's why I purchased this product - it's really gentle and nourishing. It's more moisturizing than I expected, and it's helped with my dehydration. After using it for a week, my closed comedones have cleared up. It seems the saying 'lack of moisture leads to closed comedones' is true. I'll continue using this product consistently. Although I didn't have redness originally, this seems to be helping with redness and closed comedones as well. 😢 Thank you, La Roche-Posay ❤️ I'm not sure why the color is a bit dull. It has a texture similar to an ointment, I suppose. So far, I haven't had any issues, and I'm grateful that this product alone can provide the hydration I need. 😆 When my skin is in a really bad state and I can't use anything, and I'm desperately searching for a gentle product - that's when I'd recommend trying this. This was the last product I used when I was in despair. 😢 Currently, my skin is so sensitive that I can't even use a toner or cleansing balm. I just cleanse with water and apply this product, and then I lightly apply it again to any dry areas. It's so soothing and great for my skin. 🙆🏻♀️💜 I love La Roche-Posay! 😆 - pi*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2018
It seems to be for skin reddened due to malignant dryness rather than simple flushing. My skin was so inflamed and painful, and nothing I applied helped, but this product caused no irritation and provided sufficient moisture and comfort. I finally found a product I can use when my skin frequently becomes inflamed. I don't know of any particular downsides. When you turn the cap, it locks, so even without the lid, it can prevent the opening from drying out. Using it together with Tolerian Ultra was even better. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 23, 2017
It's great for flushing. You can see the effects when you use it, but you'll know for sure if you don't use it. I tried to use Avene Anti-Redness Forte but it was out of stock, so I tried this one and I'm satisfied. The amount is small and the price is high? Other than that, I'm generally satisfied. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinOct 24, 2016
Skin type: oily, sensitive, thin skin (which causes redness) Great for redness. You don't realize it when using, but when you stop using it, you realize this product was effective for redness lol In Korea, you have to buy it through online overseas purchasing agents, so the cosmetic production date varies When using it for the first time, it's good to apply a moisturizer together until your skin gets used to the product - da*****Combination SkinJun 9, 2016
I bought this product based on the claim that it's good for promotion, and when I apply it in the evening and go to bed, the redness definitely subsides. Since I'm limited in adding other products on top, on days when I don't go out in the evening, I apply it morning and night, and while it's not dramatic, the redness gradually fades. However, if I skip using it for a few weeks, the redness comes back. I think I'll have to use up the remaining amount to see how it goes. It's a bit pricey to buy in Korea, so I have to use a proxy service, and since it's a bit greasy, it doesn't seem to absorb fully. Please apply only the appropriate amount and make sure it absorbs fully. I apply it before going to bed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 15, 2016
I bought it online because it was said to be good for flushing. I'm still using it, but I'm not sure if it's good... The liquid is a bit on the yellow side. At first, it was a bit itchy, and I thought about stopping using it, but after using only a tiny amount, the irritation went away. However, on the days when I used too much by mistake, my face ended up getting red... I'm thinking about stopping using it if possible. Use only a tiny amount.
