One positive aspect was that my hair felt softer. However, rather than feeling genuinely improved, it was more of a slippery sensation? I couldn't tell if my hair itself had gotten better or if it just appeared better due to a coating. In my experience, it felt like the product didn't rinse out completely. Lately, I've been recalling products that didn't work for me, writing reviews, and examining ingredients. For skincare, it seems to be lavender extract, oils, and other fragrances. Even with fragrances, some products are fine, possibly due to concentration differences. But this one, whether it's due to the variety of ingredients or something else, is definitely one of the worst for my skin. After using this, I developed back acne for the first time in my life. Since stopping use, it's gone. I ended up throwing away that huge bottle. It's best to avoid buying trending products on social media. I hadn't been using such products, but this one looked promising, so I bought it for the first time, and it'll be the last. The fact that its popularity has waned now probably indicates it was somewhat overhyped. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 18, 2020
I have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. Usually, I have excess oil on my nose and forehead, but since entering my 20s, it's decreased. My hair doesn't get greasy even after a day. Lately, I've been getting occasional small blemishes. 1. Reason for purchase I was attracted by the price and its high ranking on Hwahae. 2. Scent The fragrance wasn't bothersome. Since it contains milk protein, I expected a milky scent. It wasn't strong or pungent, so I could easily get used to it. 1. Oil explosion and facial irritation It didn't suit me at all. Within days of use, I experienced symptoms that should have made me stop using it, but I didn't realize it was the product's fault. Last week, when I didn't use the treatment, I noticed a significant reduction in oil on my scalp and face, which helped me identify this as the cause. - The area around my cheeks and various parts of my face felt irritated. - Previously, my hair was fine even two days after washing, but with this product, it became greasy within half an hour. - I started getting blemishes on my arms and back. - My face experienced an oil explosion, and I could clearly see my pores enlarging. This was an opportunity to identify ingredients that don't work for me. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinFeb 25, 2019
I bought this at Olive Young because it was a large size at a cheap price... Unfortunately, that's where the good points end... The scent... It's like a mix of baby powder and men's aftershave. It has a strong, overwhelming smell. When you apply it while washing your hair, it feels great, like seaweed soaked in oil, but once it dries, it's back to square one. It just feels like using a regular conditioner. Also, my back gets incredibly itchy. I even developed small bumps all over. If you're looking for a huge amount at a bargain price and don't mind the fragrance, I highly recommend this. The bottle seems never-ending! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinNov 11, 2018
The fragrance was really lovely! I used to only use it as a conditioner, but it's definitely different from just using shampoo alone. My hair feels smoother and easier to manage. I trust it because it's free from many harmful ingredients. I'm not sure if it's because I used it for short periods or because I have slightly wavy hair, but it didn't quite give me that silky, flowing effect I was hoping for. The scent was a bit disappointing as you could only smell it when you put your nose right up to your hair. Oh, and my hands became very irritated and itchy after using this! Adding to my review: On the day I used this, I noticed more flyaways and my waves became more pronounced. However, when I switched back to my regular product, this didn't happen. On the plus side, I didn't feel like my hair was overly oily the next day. In conclusion, it was a slightly drying conditioner... keep that in mind. Update 12/14/2019: Other conditioners also make my hands very irritated and itchy. The skin-related issues might be due to my personal skin sensitivities. Apart from that, there's no change to my original review. It's best to let it absorb as much as possible! I wash with warm water, apply the product, then rinse with cold water. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 27, 2018
I actually liked the slightly emulsion-like texture. It's not too watery, nor is it overly thick. I found it pleasant to apply and leave on my hair. I bought this at Olive Young today and used it once, but unfortunately, it caused some issues. It seems the fragrance, which is one of the 20 precautions listed, really didn't agree with me. As I was drying my hair, the scent started to make me dizzy. At first, I wasn't sure what was causing it, but it became clear it was the fragrance. I felt so dizzy I was staggering, started sweating, and had trouble breathing. I even developed a fever. To escape the scent quickly, I rinsed my hair with water and used my regular treatment while drying my hair, but the musky scent persisted. Feeling desperate, I shampooed again, let it sit for a bit, reapplied my usual treatment, let it sit again, and dried my hair - but the musky scent was still there. Isn't this problematic? I washed my hair twice in total - once just rinsing with water and using my regular treatment, and once with shampoo plus my regular treatment - but the smell remained unchanged. Those who are sensitive to fragrances should take note. I'm not usually very sensitive to scents, but this is the first time I've experienced something like this. Also, this product doesn't seem to be very hydrating. After one use, I can't be certain, but even after leaving it on for 20 minutes, my hair didn't feel particularly soft. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 3, 2018
It's protein-based, so it feels nice and soft. Leaving it on for a while makes it even better. The scent is strange... there's an odd fishy smell. Also, after using this product, I've noticed blemishes appearing on my scalp. Only use on the ends of your hair - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 2, 2018
The generous amount and how it left my hair feeling soft were positive points. While there were some advantages, for me, the drawbacks far outweighed them. Despite thoroughly rinsing my hair, I kept experiencing blemishes on my cheeks, chin, and neck where my hair touched while using this product. Not knowing the cause, I continued using it, but when I stopped out of suspicion, the blemishes ceased. I would advise those with super sensitive skin to avoid this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 22, 2018
I can't find a single positive thing to say about this product, not even its price-to-volume ratio. I bought this because everyone said it was good and seemed like great value for money. But since I started using it, my hair condition has been getting worse and worse. I'm completely disappointed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2018
It's affordable for its volume and has a thin consistency, making it easy to use. It absorbs well into the hair and softens it nicely. While it seems to have a fair amount of oil, it's not overly rich. Though not permanent, I felt my hair quality improved while using it due to the protein replenishment - this and only one other product gave me that feeling. Unfortunately, the caprylic triglyceride added for hydration doesn't suit my skin type. It made my scalp and hairline slightly itchy, and with prolonged use, I developed small bumps... If not for this, I would have continued using it. The scent is a bit overwhelming, reminiscent of musk mixed with a milky odor, especially noticeable in summer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2018
I heard so many good things about it, so I decided to give it a try after bleaching my hair left the ends damaged What a waste of money! I've never had my hair feel so dry after using conditioner. I bought this along with a shampoo, and since I couldn't tell which one was causing my hair to suddenly become so brittle, I tried them separately. Turns out this product was the culprit... It's like magic how my hair becomes stiff and straw-like as soon as I rinse it out. It's absolutely terrible. I have no idea how to deal with this... I'd gladly give it away if someone asked for it. Ugh... My hair only started to improve a bit after I immediately switched to a different conditioner. Nothing else to add
