A few years ago, when this product was heavily advertised on social media as being amazing, I had been consistently using professional treatments recommended by my hair salon. But when I saw this product on sale at Olive Young for such a great price, I decided to give it a try. ✔️ Your hair becomes incredibly soft as soon as you use it The main advantage is that your hair truly becomes super soft immediately after application ✔️ The scent is pleasant ✔️ Great value for money with a large quantity that lasts a long time At first, I thought it was satisfying for the price, as my hair became extremely soft right after use. However, there's a reason why I stopped using it before even finishing the bottle. ✔️ When using the treatment in the shower, the long hair coated with the product touched my chest and back, causing a severe outbreak of chest and back blemishes. It was truly awful... I've never had acne-prone skin, not even during puberty, and I've never experienced such severe chest and back blemishes in my life. I'm not sure if there's an ingredient that doesn't agree with me or if it's just me, but I immediately stopped using it, thinking that I shouldn't continue with a product that irritates my skin so much. Even thoroughly scrubbing my body after using the treatment didn't help. The chest and back blemishes gradually disappeared about 2-3 months after I stopped using the treatment. ✔️ Also, while your hair feels incredibly soft when washing it out, the softness decreases once you dry your hair and go about your daily activities. Compared to other products I've used before, it didn't maintain the same level of softness throughout the day as it did right after washing. ✔️ When using, make sure the product doesn't come into contact with your body ✔️ If this product works well for you, its large quantity for the price makes it great for consistent use! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 3, 2018
It's protein-based, so it feels nice and soft. Leaving it on for a while makes it even better. The scent is strange... there's an odd fishy smell. Also, after using this product, I've noticed blemishes appearing on my scalp. Only use on the ends of your hair - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2018
It's affordable for its volume and has a thin consistency, making it easy to use. It absorbs well into the hair and softens it nicely. While it seems to have a fair amount of oil, it's not overly rich. Though not permanent, I felt my hair quality improved while using it due to the protein replenishment - this and only one other product gave me that feeling. Unfortunately, the caprylic triglyceride added for hydration doesn't suit my skin type. It made my scalp and hairline slightly itchy, and with prolonged use, I developed small bumps... If not for this, I would have continued using it. The scent is a bit overwhelming, reminiscent of musk mixed with a milky odor, especially noticeable in summer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 7, 2018
- The scent is pleasant and long-lasting. - After use, my hair feels softer and seems more resilient. As a treatment, it seems to function quite well. - Blemishes... Most conditioners and treatments tend to cause blemishes for me, and this product was no exception. I bought it hoping to revive my damaged hair, but no matter how hard I try to avoid my scalp and skin, it still causes blemishes on my scalp, neck, and back. The irritation subsides a few days after I stop using it. I have so much left and it's such a waste. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 30, 2018
The generous amount and subtle scent seem nice, but I can't find any other positives. I've been dealing with back acne and scalp blemishes for half a year now. Please, I beg you, start with just a small amount. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 6, 2018
Well, I liked that it came in a generous amount and was affordable! The scent was also pleasant. Suddenly, I noticed my hair was falling out excessively. Not realizing this could be the cause, I continued using this treatment. It turns out, this treatment was the culprit. After I stopped using this product, my hair loss decreased significantly. The ingredients seemed good, so I'm not sure why this happened. I guess it just doesn't agree with me. Oh, and I also developed inflammation on my scalp. I don't plan on using products from this company ever again. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 12, 2017
The ingredients looked good, the quantity was good value for the price, and it's on sale at Olive Young. Even though I only used it on my hair, the part of my scalp that it briefly touched started itching strangely, and I developed hives on my back from contact dermatitis. This all happened in just 3 days. It's a shame, but I'll have to throw it away and switch to something else. Sensitive individuals should be cautious. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2017
Well, it seems to have only downsides. I bought it from Hwahae since it's well-known for having at least one bad ingredient. First, the smell was incredibly strong and seemed harmful to the body. After using it, I had an allergic reaction on my ears - they became red, itchy, and bumpy. I couldn't use the treatment, and even though I had high hopes, it also caused issues. I'm not sure what I should use now. I don't know, it's a waste of money. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 1, 2017
The price is reasonable, the volume is large, and it can be used without burden. It feels like rinsing seaweed when washing. I keep getting skin troubles and it's so itchy that I can't stand it. I really couldn't use it anymore, so I had to stop using it. The parts that touched my head all turned red and became bumpy or swollen. Ugh. Use it generously. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 18, 2017
I was looking for something to use after finishing my previous product when I saw this on sale at Olive Young. I trusted the good reviews and didn't hesitate to buy it. I purchased it hoping it would create a healthy head of hair. The hair quality wasn't bad either. It didn't make my hair super soft, but it did make it feel a bit more silky and smooth. I used it like a hair pack and it worked pretty well. After switching to this, the acne I had on the parts of my head where the hair touched disappeared, which was surprising. The acne disappeared from my body, but then breakouts appeared on my face! When I first started using this, I was taking medication for skin inflammation, and my skin was in really good condition. But about a week after I stopped the medication, sudden breakouts appeared on my cheeks. I usually only get breakouts on my cheeks, and I haven't had any on my forehead for about 4-5 years now. And on my chin, I only get them if I use heavy hair essences (like silicone-based ones). But HA HA HA, right when I stopped the medication, and was also using another hair pack, I got a huge breakout on my eyebrows on the very day I started using this product. Tiny bumps also erupted on my forehead. The breakouts on my eyebrows were really painful and didn't even come to a head. There were 2-3 big ones on each eyebrow, right where my bangs touch. Luckily they were hidden in my eyebrows, so they weren't too visible. But breakouts on my eyebrows? HA HA HA. Does this suit my skin? Does this suit the skin on my eyebrows? Didn't you say it wouldn't do this? I only changed my shampoo and this product, and kept everything else the same, just to test it out. And then I got eyebrow breakouts and more breakouts from using this again! I'm such a mess! It's been about 2 weeks since I stopped using it, but the remnants are still there, albeit small. There are also little breakouts on the sides of my chin where my hair touches. Sigh... Anyway, I think this would be great for people whose skin agrees with it... When I had the breakouts, I used a sample of the Innisfree Bija Cica Balm or something like that as a spot treatment, and that worked really well. Thanks to that, I discovered a good skincare product.
