You can test it at a department store to find your perfect match, then buy it online for about 30% less. I purchased mine online, but it was shipped from a Lotte Department Store location. If you use shade 21, Finland Light 1 should work well for you. (I have oily, combination skin with redness) A little goes a long way - it has great coverage and absorbs well. You don't even need to set it with powder; it feels velvety smooth and has incredible staying power. Since you only need a small amount, one purchase lasts quite a while. This is the first time I've been able to apply makeup in the morning and not need any touch-ups throughout the day - that's how good NARS is. As the name suggests, it has a matte finish that's perfect for oily skin. Highly recommended for those with oily skin. It should work well for most skin types except very dry skin, as it applies thinly and smoothly. It doesn't settle into pores much either. I suggest trying a tester at a department store to see how it works for you.
ConsI have oily combination skin with redness. As I'm getting older, my nose gets oily while my forehead is becoming very dry and flaky - typical combination skin woes. The dryness on my forehead is quite severe. Also, there's a slight alcohol scent to the product.
TipI found that using this with Physiogel moisturizer works better for hydration than applying a thick layer of regular moisturizer underneath.

My skin is naturally dull and dark, and I've been struggling with acne scars, but the yellow base matches my skin tone well. I used the almond shade, and it's a perfect match with excellent coverage. When I go out wearing this, I often hear compliments about how good my skin looks. All this time
ConsThe scent is really unpleasant, smelling like gasoline or alcohol every time I apply it. It feels like I'm putting on something harmful rather than a cosmetic product. Unlike other moisturizing BB creams, it's not hydrating at all. It turns powdery immediately after application, leaving my skin feeling dry and tight
TipMixing it with a watery serum or emulsion might help with the thick texture, but there's no solution for the smell. Personally, I recommend mixing it with DHC sunscreen, which has a thin consistency. This way, you don't need to apply sunscreen separately, saving time and effort

This is great for morning makeup. For a foundation, it's not too thick and quite versatile. It's perfect for summer use. It's less sticky than others. If you're going for a natural look rather than full coverage, this would be ideal.
ConsThe coverage is decent. It's good for summer because it's not oily. The worst part is the alcohol scent. It's bothersome the day after drinking. Not recommended for those sensitive to smells. Otherwise, it's generally okay. Considering the price, it's a bit disappointing.
TipUse it with a damp Daiso puff. It spreads well. Just remember to wash the puff regularly. Be warned, it can cause serious blemishes.

As a light summer cool tone, I find it has slightly less pink undertones than before (compared to the pre-renewal HD foundation 115), making it closer to beige without being yellow. It applies smoothly and sets to a matte, powdery finish. I have oily skin, especially in the T-zone, but this foundation holds up well until my midday touch-up. When blotting with oil paper, it doesn't break down and maintains its integrity! While I don't focus on coverage, you might want to add concealer if you need more. I bought this in a hurry when I heard about the new release, and I'm more satisfied than expected.
ConsFirst off, there's a noticeable alcohol scent. It applies smoothly but quickly sets to a matte finish, suggesting the presence of alcohol to help the ingredients evaporate rapidly. This scent might give first-time users pause. Fortunately, the smell dissipates quickly. Perhaps due to the alcohol content, there's a slight warming sensation when applied to the face.
TipIn my experience, fingers work best for application, rather than sponges, brushes, or air puffs. My technique is to apply it first with my fingers, then finish by gently patting with a house-shaped sponge. This seems to eliminate texture issues and helps the foundation adhere better to the skin. As for the strong alcohol scent, I have a little trick: when I first dispense it onto the back of my hand, I lightly press the product with my finger (since I'll be using my hands to apply anyway) and blow on it a few times. It might be psychological, but I feel like this helps reduce the alcohol smell a bit!
