The coverage is impressive... If you use a shade slightly darker than your natural complexion, it really gives a clean, even look. It even manages to conceal blemish marks to the point where they're practically invisible. You need to double-check your complexion after eating, as it may affect the appearance. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 18, 2020
A makeup artist friend recommended this, so I bought it a while ago. To be honest, I didn't understand what was so great about it at first. When my skin was dry or in poor condition (with lots of texture or roughness), it didn't seem to cover those issues well... I put it away and didn't use it much, but recently I took it out again and wow???? It's actually really good???? The problems I had before were: 1. I only used a dry puff, which made my skin dry 2. I used it when my skin was very dry or textured That seems to be the gist of it... It's great at covering blemishes, but if you apply it when your skin is rough, it can emphasize texture. And I've heard this about many NARS products, but applying with your fingers looks the best!! This one especially feels like you're applying a slightly fluffy emulsion, so using your hands is much better than a puff. Above all, it doesn't seem to break down even when applied with fingers, so it's a good foundation for long wear. It doesn't pill even when applied over sunscreen. As mentioned above, if you have textured skin, it can emphasize that texture... And if you apply it to dry skin, it might accentuate dead skin cells. You must apply it with your hands on well-moisturized skin after thoroughly prepping your base and applying cream. No puff. Apply with hands. Make sure to prep skin thoroughly before application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2019
This was my first ever cosmetic product and it's still a staple I can't do without. While it's not particularly high-coverage and can look a bit cakey if not blended quickly due to its matte finish, it gives the appearance of smooth skin and effectively fills in pores. It truly gives that 'peeled egg' look to your complexion. Though the puff is decent, applying it with your hands in quick, patting motions gives a more even application as it absorbs moisture quickly. It starts off matte but develops a subtle semi-matte glow over time, making your skin look great. Some say it has a paint-like scent, but as someone who prefers unscented products, it didn't bother me much. Even after extended wear, it fades gracefully without much breakdown unless you rub your face or scratch it with glasses. If your skin is very dry or flaky, this might not look flattering. In fact, it might even make your skin look worse before it settles. If you leave it on your face without blending immediately, you'll end up with patchy foundation. Despite its low coverage, it can apply a bit thick, so be careful with the amount you use. When filling in pores, try applying in the opposite direction for a smoother finish! Be careful not to apply too thickly on the nose. On very hot days or when you need to touch up after being out for a while, it's hard to reapply naturally without removing everything and starting from scratch. When choosing a shade, try to match your skin tone closely. If you go too light, you'll end up with a ghostly white face once the rest of your makeup wears off. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJun 26, 2019
I have combination skin that tends to be a bit dry. So when applying this, I mixed it with a colorless sunscreen or regular moisturizer. The coverage and color seem pretty decent. While I managed to somewhat counteract the matte finish that many others have mentioned by mixing it with other products, I still noticed some dryness and flaking in the afternoon. Also, when I use this while my skin isn't in the best condition, it seems to trigger blemishes more easily. I think mixing it with other products and applying with a brush is the way to go! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2019
It has a matte finish but doesn't cause much deep dryness and absorbs really well There's nothing... Really nothing bad to say. It's just all good - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2019
- Excellent coverage - Demi-matte finish (definitely velvety, but not as matte as Double Wear) - Incredibly lightweight! - Thankfully, no pink undertones Even with my dry skin, I experienced almost no pilling! For shades, I used Alaska in winter (when I'm lighter) and Greenland in summer (when I'm darker). Currently using the Creamy Concealer in shade 2.2 While it worked well for me, some people found the scent unbearable. It might be worth smelling it before purchasing - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 16, 2019
Works great as a spot concealer. Covers imperfections well. On days when my complexion looks dull, I apply a very thin layer before my cushion foundation, and it instantly brightens up my face. It's not particularly hydrating... I wish it had a bit more moisture to it. If you slather on a hydrating moisturizer beforehand, it applies somewhat better. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinApr 7, 2019
Wide range of colors with trendy designs. The matte texture is perfect for hot summer days I bought it, but it's too matte and cracks badly, so I barely used it and threw it away. It makes my skin look dry and dull - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedMar 18, 2019
I really liked the soft, powdery texture, and the scent wasn't bad at all. The way it absorbs into the skin is pretty nice too. The price is on the higher side, which is a bit of a stretch for me as a student. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 26, 2019
Unlike many matte foundations that tend to accentuate skin imperfections, this one doesn't. It manages to be matte while still beautifully enhancing skin texture. As with most matte foundations, it offers good coverage. The texture is similar to velvet lip products, finishing with a soft, powdery feel. Honestly, while the price is a bit steep, considering the amount you get, it doesn't seem that expensive. After wearing it for a long time, the condition becomes less than ideal, probably due to its drying nature. It doesn't exactly break down, but it does tend to look noticeably patchy. It really makes you think, 'Ah, this is a matte foundation after all.' Unless you have extremely oily skin, touch-ups are a must. It's best to avoid using this on days when your face feels particularly warm.
