First off, when you think of an eye cream, you'd expect a small amount in a thick cream form. But Santa Maria Novella's eye cream has a runny, mucus-like texture! Plus, it comes in a much larger quantity compared to other eye creams. Unfortunately, that's about the only positive thing I can say about it.

I wanted a light eye cream, but I can't really recommend this one.

The lightweight texture absorbs well and spreads easily on the skin. While I haven't noticed any dramatic effects, I've been diligently applying it to my frown lines, and they seem to have slightly faded. The pump dispenser makes it convenient to use.

The volume is large, but the expiration date is short, so I apply it to my entire face and décolleté.
