The transparent and lightweight texture allows for full-face application even with a small amount! I have sensitive skin with atopic dermatitis around my eyes, but this is gentle enough to use without any irritation! The price... And it's so thin that I don't feel like it's providing much nourishment - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDec 28, 2020
Great value for money with a generous amount. It's lightweight and transparent, causing no irritation. Despite its essence-like texture, it always forms a film that pills and transfers, seeming unable to absorb. I'm not sure if it just doesn't suit my skin, but I constantly found myself wondering why it behaved this way while using it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 7, 2019
First off, when you think of an eye cream, you'd expect a small amount in a thick cream form. But Santa Maria Novella's eye cream has a runny, mucus-like texture! Plus, it comes in a much larger quantity compared to other eye creams. Unfortunately, that's about the only positive thing I can say about it. The disappointing aspects are that despite the large quantity, it has an extremely short shelf life. I'm also unsure about its effectiveness considering the price. When I apply it, my eye area feels even drier, and it tends to pill when used with other skincare products. And I had no idea the ingredients would be this problematic... To use it up before it expires, I've been applying it to my neck and smile lines as well... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJul 15, 2018
It does apply lightly when you put it on. That's about the only positive thing I can say. When I apply it in the morning, it keeps pilling. It flakes off like dead skin cells. I wanted a light eye cream, but I can't really recommend this one. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 19, 2018
It provides a nice cooling effect and definitely reduces oiliness. It's probably great for those with oily skin who don't worry about dryness. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I can really feel the moisture evaporating. Also, if you don't let it absorb well, it tends to pill frequently. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2018
The lightweight texture absorbs well and spreads easily on the skin. While I haven't noticed any dramatic effects, I've been diligently applying it to my frown lines, and they seem to have slightly faded. The pump dispenser makes it convenient to use. I haven't found any drawbacks while using this product. I'm quite satisfied with it so far. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 13, 2017
It absorbs quickly because it is watery. It has a cooling effect, so it feels tightening. Even if you apply a solid base makeup, it will still cake during the day. And even if you carefully apply the base at night, it will still cake... So I don't mind if it cakes at night, so I only apply it at night. The cooling effect seems to be because the formulation contains denatured alcohol, which helps water evaporate and makes the skin dry. So for dry-skinned people, this product might not be a good choice. I also bought it during my trip to Italy because it was relatively cheap, but I have no intention of repurchasing it. The volume is large, but the expiration date is short, so I apply it to my entire face and décolleté. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 24, 2017
My mom looks rejuvenated. There's a bit less wrinkling on my forehead, and it feels tighter and more toned. My drooping eyes also seem to have lifted, giving me a prettier look. The price is quite expensive. The fragrance is also not to my liking. Don't be stingy, apply it generously all over your face. It makes you feel like you're not aging. While we can't turn back time, this is one way to slow it down! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 7, 2017
There was a preconception (?) that eye creams have a thick texture, but this one is as runny as an ampoule, which was quite surprising. The scent is not bad, but it's too runny and doesn't seem to apply only to the eye area. I've been using it all over my face occasionally instead of as an eye cream;; It's too runny and doesn't absorb well. It's sticky. While wrinkle-improving products may be more or less the same, I'm not sure if it has a significant effect. I sometimes apply it all over my face like an essence. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2017
I was worried that the spreadability was too thin and wouldn't provide enough bounce, but it seems to be fine as it absorbs well as it dries. However, after checking the ingredients, I don't think I'll buy it again. The ingredient list is really disappointing, so I don't want to buy it again. I didn't really see much of a difference with the Santa Maria Novella one.
