The formula has a nice hydrating feel and doesn't pill, so you can easily apply it before makeup without any fuss. I've found that mixing it with foundation works better for me than applying it separately - it gives a nice skin finish and adheres well. I bought this hoping the 'matte' in the name meant it would control oil, but my skin gets just as oily. Highly recommended for those with super oily skin! As someone whose face turns into an oil slick after just two hours of makeup, this product was a game-changer. It's like I've seen the light! Even a small amount keeps excess oil in check, making it an absolute must-have in my makeup routine. The price point is quite high, which can be a barrier for some. I bought this because I heard it controls oil even in winter when my skin gets super greasy... The formula has a cool blue color and feels packed with hydration I'm not sure if it's actually controlling oil. It doesn't cover my pores at all. Even when I focus on applying it to my T-zone, oil still seeps through... My makeup breaks down from oil around my nose. I can't really tell the difference between when I use it and when I don't. It might work differently in summer, but as autumn approaches, I find myself reaching for it less and less...

The cooling effect makes it great for summer use. If you have oily skin, especially in the T-zone, it could be suitable for any season. The finish is matte and powdery without being overly drying. Plus, the generous amount means it'll last a while. For a flawless 'egg-shell' complexion, apply thoroughly after your skincare routine, including over your pores! Unfortunately, the ingredients are a bit disappointing. There are even some potential allergens... I think I'll start looking for a more skin-friendly alternative from today. Personally, I found the cooling effect great for calming redness while providing coverage.

It makes the skin feel soft and powdery, which is great for oily skin types. If you apply too much or touch your face frequently, it can cause your makeup to pill. It's crucial to control the amount you use! Since it creates a powdery finish, I find myself not reaching for it as much during the dry autumn and winter months. Squeeze out a pea-sized amount and spread it over areas with large pores - it absorbs beautifully. The generous quantity will easily last you through the season. I'm not sure if it's as effective as I hoped, perhaps because I don't sweat much. It temporarily keeps the oily shine off my nose area Unfortunately, the oil control is short-lived. The shine returns after a short while, which is disappointing considering it's not exactly cheap

The small size makes it ideal for carrying in your makeup pouch! Helps control excess oil. It does a decent job of managing oiliness, which is pretty good. The price... It seems a bit steep for what it actually does. Disappointing pore-covering effect. Well, it turns out it's just an oil-control product after all. I'd recommend trying something else instead.
