The color? Absolutely fantastic! There's really no substitute for it. It's wonderfully hydrating too. The taste... it's truly awful. If it gets in your mouth, it'll ruin your day. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 8, 2020
The product itself is really pretty, and as someone who doesn't use matte products, I loved how hydrating it was the most. The complexion... looked quite off. But since this varies from person to person, it's not really a downside. If anything, the container being heavy might be a minor issue..? - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSep 29, 2020
The Lux Lip Color applies beautifully, feels moisturizing, and doesn't crack or clump. It's not recommended for those seeking a matte lip product. The color payoff is also impressive. You need to choose the color carefully. If you're not mindful, it might make you look older than you are. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 13, 2020
The color leans more towards plum burgundy rather than a dried rose tone. It's perfect for fall and winter wear. While it's a moisturizing lip product that transfers easily due to its hydrating formula, the staying power is surprisingly decent. Applying it intensely just to the inner lips creates a sultry, lived-in look. It tends to settle into lip lines, so when applying a deeper layer, you need to stretch your lips while applying. Due to its moisturizing nature, it transfers easily. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 30, 2020
The moisture lasts for a long time and the color payoff is excellent. Just apply a little and gently pat it in, and it spreads naturally, making your lips look absolutely gorgeous. This is definitely a cool-toned shade. If you have a warm, yellow undertone, never buy this - it's a waste of money. They said it was a cool summer shade, and it really seems to be. I bought it because I loved the color so much, but it doesn't suit me at all, which makes me sad. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 14, 2020
I snagged this just before it sold out last year. At the time, this color was a total game-changer for me. It applies so smoothly, with a thin, hydrating layer that feels incredibly soft on the skin. These days, though, Bobbi Brown seems to have frequent sales, which has made the brand feel more mainstream. It's lost some of that luxury appeal it once had. Also, the hibiscus shade doesn't necessarily brighten the complexion. You can find similar colors that better match your skin tone at more affordable drugstore brands. As someone with yellow undertones, I find that applying a thin layer and smudging it out really brings the look to life. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 7, 2019
It feels moisturizing when applied. The effect lasts long. No smudging. While I find it hydrating, others say it applies with a matte finish. The size is enormous. It might be a bit heavy. The color is more intense than expected. If applied incorrectly as a full lip, it could give you a 1990s vibe. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinOct 11, 2019
The color payoff is true to the shade, and it's quite moisturizing. You don't even need to apply lip balm underneath - the color goes on smoothly and evenly. This is a subjective reason, but since my complexion isn't very fair, when I apply it, it makes my overall appearance look darker. I think it would look beautiful with its unique shade if you have a clear skin tone. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 18, 2019
The color is luxurious and the scent is quite pleasant. It applies with a nice moisturizing feel, and it suits me well. It comes off easily? Well, it's a lipstick, so I suppose that's to be expected. Applying it fully can be a bit much, so I prefer to use a gradient technique. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 9, 2019
I have a cool summer complexion. While it's not a perfect match, the color is sophisticated and beautiful. It applies incredibly moisturizing. Perhaps due to its hydrating and creamy texture, it transfers too easily and the staying power is disappointing.
