I received this as a mini gift size. While the Parisian Red shade was too warm for me, this one is perfect for cool-toned daily wear. It looks beautiful even on bare skin and applies well with full makeup too! I'm planning to buy the full-size product. The color looked like a reddish-brown at first glance, which seemed a bit intense, but once applied, it's a lovely cool-toned MLBB (My Lips But Better) shade that gives a calm and sophisticated look. I highly recommend testing it out for yourself! Since it's not a matte lipstick, it does transfer onto masks in these times... and if you eat a lot, it tends to wear off where your lips touch the food. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 30, 2020
No dead skin cells emphasized. It gives a subtle rosy hue with a hint of purple. It's beautiful! Be careful not to apply it too thickly, or it might turn into a reddish-brown shade. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAug 1, 2018
I absolutely love the color payoff. It's a dried rose shade with a subtle burgundy feel. I usually have trouble pulling off burgundy colors due to my strong features, but Hibiscus looks natural and not overwhelming. The color itself isn't outdated at all - it's beautiful and I'm very satisfied! I didn't have any issues. I was satisfied with all three aspects: the color, pigmentation, and application. It barely emphasizes dead skin cells. However, a friend who bought it with me found the color payoff stronger than expected and felt a full lip application was too much. Personally, I'm happy with a full lip application too. It pairs well with burgundy eyeshadow. I accidentally bought a cushion foundation one shade more muted than intended, but this lipstick is a perfect match with the subdued base. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 4, 2018
This is such a perfect shade for autumn and winter. It's a dried rose color with a hint of bluish wine. I usually struggle with very matte lipsticks, but this one is comfortably soft and has great staying power. It barely leaves marks on cups when drinking water! I lost it less than a week after buying it... I loved it so much that I repurchased it right away. While I really like the product itself, the gold case... The luxurious and pretty appearance it had when first purchased disappears. Even though I just keep it in my makeup pouch, it gets scratched so easily!! I didn't notice this with the Bobbi Brown Nourishing Oil Lipstick (black case with gold trim), but since this one has an all-gold body, it's disappointing despite the high price. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 16, 2017
In fact, this girl used to use Raspberry Pink and then bought Hibiscus, which is said to be a famous item of dried rose lip stick. The color payoff and adhesion are also good. It's not a bad item in terms of lasting power. It's not too matte or too glossy. There doesn't seem to be any downside. Except for the price range, those who like matte lips may have mixed feelings about it... It's also useful when touching up the cheeks. There's no real tip to speak of other than using it as a lip and cheek product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 29, 2017
This is a daily lipstick in a dried rose color that can be used comfortably throughout the seasons! It has become my favorite lipstick that can be worn with any style~~^_^ It applies creamily and is easy to apply, and it gives me a slightly moisturizing expression! The Hibiscus color from Bobbi Brown is also very famous, so I couldn't help but buy it. Although it's an expensive price, I'm still using it diligently since I bought it with a big heart. While it applies creamily, the downside was that there was almost no pigmentation, so it was easily wiped off. However, because the application was so good, I was able to apply it quickly anytime. You can first apply a similar dried rose-colored tint, and then cover it with the Bobbi Brown Hibiscus color to increase the staying power a bit! Even if you apply it as a full lip, it's a really pretty color when applied in a gradient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinMar 20, 2017
A dark pink with a hint of purple. This pink shade is recommended for those who find pink tiring and are hesitant to try a brick-colored MLBB (My Lips But Better). The texture is neither too dry nor overly moisturizing, which is nice. It also has very little fragrance. Aside from the high price-to-performance ratio, it is generally decent. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 2, 2017
The color is so, so, so, so beautiful! It's a color that's a mix of dried rose and plum, and the pigmentation is really great :) I always apply lip balm and then lipstick, but it seems quite moisturizing even without the lip balm. It does tend to transfer a bit onto cups or straws though :( Gradient looks nicer than a full lip. Just lightly dab it on the inner part of the lips and then use your finger to fill in the rest. Or you can just gently pat it on, it'll look delicate and soft! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 6, 2016
The color is beautiful. It's a dried rose, and I'd say it's a bit more high-end. It's better to apply it in a blurred way rather than a gradient, and it suits warm-toned people well. It also applies smoothly and softly. Since it's not a matte lipstick, the staying power is lower. It's more matte than the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté (though that may be an unfair comparison).
