Among the shampoos I've used so far, this one leaves the best lather. My scalp is extremely oily, so even if I wash my hair at night and go to bed, by the next morning it's a bit greasy. This was my first time using a silicone-free, paraben-free product. I feel like my hair is slightly heavier.

I bought the silicone-free, paraben-free product on sale at the store, since my hair damage was quite severe, and I wanted to try a recovery product. As soon as I started using it, my husband's scalp became severely itchy and he developed a lot of dandruff, so he had to stop using it. I didn't have time to order online, and my shampoo was running low... I bought and started using a silicone-free and paraben-free product from the store based on those claims. I'm the type who pays attention to ingredients because of scalp itchiness, and the itchiness was gone. The lather is good, and the shampoo has a slightly thick, creamy texture. One pump produces enough rich lather to cover my shoulder-length hair, and it rinses out cleanly. True to its 'recovery' name, my hair feels softer even after shampooing.

Cons

As expected, the more a product touts being silicone-free, the more you need to scrutinize the other ingredients. While it is silicone-free, paraben-free, and dye-free, it's a pearlescent white liquid, and the ingredient list has pretty much everything else you'd find in a shampoo.
