It's gentle yet effectively removes even eye makeup in one go. It's truly convenient! There's honestly nothing to complain about. I'll definitely repurchase. I'm actually worried they might stop producing it! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 13, 2021
This cleansing balm has incredible cleansing effectiveness, removing even waterproof makeup in one go! I'm totally satisfied with its gentle feel and how it smoothly melts into the skin. The price is the biggest drawback. I fell for the sales pitch at the store and bought it once, but I won't be repurchasing. The price-to-quantity ratio is just wicked - you get so little for such a high cost. There are many other cleansing balms out there that are cheaper, gentle, and remove makeup effectively. The price point is especially disappointing. If you're rolling in money, sure, give it a try. It would make a great gift to receive though! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 30, 2019
I was a bit hesitant about using a balm-type cleanser, but it turned out to be incredibly effective at removing makeup. It melts easily with the warmth of your hands and gently removes makeup without any irritation. Even mascara comes off smoothly with a bit of gentle rolling. I love that it's not harsh and doesn't cause any blemishes. It leaves a tiny bit of residue from long-lasting tints. And well... the price is a bit steep. For point makeup areas, rubbing a couple more times gives a feeling of more thorough cleansing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 30, 2017
I have sensitive skin. There is redness, and my skin feels like it's turning inside out when I double cleanse. It's not so much that my skin is sensitive, but rather that it's thin, which makes it sensitive. I usually apply makeup lightly and cleanse with a mild acidic foam cleanser twice. On days when I have clogged pores or flaky skin, I cleanse solely with this product. It clears up the sebum and exfoliation without being irritating, which I like. The cleansing power is also good. There wasn't really anything bad. Since I have sensitive skin, using it every day is a bit irritating. If your skin has redness, you should apply makeup lightly. You can use a BB cream instead of foundation. The coverage isn't as good, but it comes off much easier than foundation. If you apply makeup heavily, you need to use a cleansing product that removes it well, but those tend to be irritating. Gently pat this product onto your face and spread it around, then rinse it off while gently massaging. The more friction on your skin, the more irritating it becomes. Spending a long time cleansing can also be irritating. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 21, 2017
Even if you apply the base thickly or make the color deeper, it can be easily wiped off by gently massaging it. No irritation to the eyes. After washing, it feels soft without a tightening sensation. Maybe because of the oiliness, breakouts start to appear if used daily.. It's good when doing heavy makeup, but not recommended for oily skin when doing light makeup. Scoop out a small amount and gently massage it into the areas that need the most removal, then massage the entire face for a while before cleansing. It's good to use a cleansing foam once during the cleansing process. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 19, 2017
The moment it's applied to the skin, it feels like melting sorbet. The fine particles allow it to roll on the skin without irritation. It removes eye and lip makeup well, so you don't need separate removers. Compared to foam types, it also better preserves skin moisture. There's nothing disappointing. I'm completely satisfied and intend to repurchase. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 1, 2017
The makeup can be easily removed with just a small amount, including eyeshadows and heavy blush. I used to use cleansing tissues, but they seemed to irritate my skin, so I tried this product and it's definitely less irritating and more gentle, with a nice massaging effect. It also doesn't leave an oily residue when rinsed off, so it feels fresh. Since it's in a jar form, there's the inconvenience of having to twist the lid open and use a spatula. And the price is quite expensive, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 28, 2016
1. As I am highly sensitive, even a single incompatible ingredient can cause immediate irritation. However, this product did not result in more than three blemishes appearing. It is relatively gentle. 1. The product volume is small. If used daily for makeup removal, it would only last about a month. 2. It does not effectively extract impurities from pores or tighten them. The sebum remains trapped inside the pores. 3. The cleansing power is not satisfactory. Even after thorough cleansing, there seems to be something left behind in the pores, making the skin appear unhealthy. As a result, I ended up switching to the Shu Uemura cleansing oil. This product needs to be applied to the face and then thoroughly massaged with water until it emulsifies into a white, creamy lather. According to the Estée Lauder staff at the department store, this product is water-soluble, so it can be effectively removed like soap when combined with water. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinSep 18, 2016
I received a sample and used it, and it's great. The eye makeup comes off really well, which I love. Even when I used an eye makeup remover, it didn't come off completely and just irritated my eyes, but this can remove everything without any irritation, which is great. Since it's a balm type, the amount seems a bit difficult to control. After using this, I do a double cleanse with soap once more. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 10, 2016
It wipes off cleanly and without irritation as it is a balm type. The ingredients did not disagree with me. The price The container looks big, but the actual amount inside is small. If I had known about the Vanillakko sky blue container cleansing balm (Purity), I wouldn't have bought it. The Vanillakko pink container felt too irritating, but the Pure type has good ingredients. The balm type is also convenient to carry around, so I recommend it.
