In the past, the lather didn't form well and it was too stiff when rinsing, which was inconvenient, but lately the usage experience has greatly improved.

The product has no 20 problematic ingredients and it suits me well, so I'm alternating between using the Avalon shampoo and the tea tree one. The lather is rich, my scalp feels refreshed, and my hair isn't overly stiff, so I'm very satisfied.

It's a bit disappointing that I couldn't really feel whether it was good or bad.

*The fragrance is not a floral Provencal scent, but a strong masculine cologne-like smell, though it does go away after rinsing. *There is a tendency for a bit of hair shedding, not extremely severe compared to other shampoos I've used, but still a bit disappointing for an otherwise good shampoo. *It's fine on the day of use, but the next day the scalp feels slightly itchy!


*Aside from allergies, the ingredients are Good! *Good cleansing power *Adequate and well-formed lather *Hair is suitably soft without being overly oily or tangled *No issues with irritation, an overall superior product!!! I've tried many shampoos, and this is a good one without any major flaws.

Moreover, the large size is very convenient!

It's because the shampoo formula lacks the silicone or other ingredients that make the hair soft. As a result, the hair gets frizzy after washing. The cleansing power is also not as good as regular shampoos, so if you don't wash it thoroughly, the hair won't get cleaned properly.

I used to suffer from scalp inflammation and acne due to excess oil, but after using this product, all my troubles have been resolved. (The products from the same company, OGX, also do not cause any issues on my scalp, so I also recommend OGX products.)

First, thoroughly wet your scalp with water. If there's some dirt, oil, or dandruff buildup, lather the shampoo and gently massage it into your scalp. Then, do a quick rinse. This will leave your hair feeling cleaner. The key is to wash your face after shampooing your hair to avoid any leftover shampoo residue on your face.

However, don't expect a strong cleansing power if you have an oily scalp.

If you don't have any allergies or aversions to the lavender scent, a mild shampoo would be a good choice. Since it doesn't contain parabens, it shouldn't cause any skin issues.

After using this product, I developed rashes on my scalp, face, and neck area. I had to go to a dermatologist and get a prescription to calm the irritation.
