  Pros

  The hydration is excellent. You can feel the aloe vera ingredient helping to soothe the skin. It's great to apply generously and frequently when your skin gets red from prolonged sun exposure.

  Cons

  Perhaps due to its high moisture content, the slippery feeling lasts for a while. After it absorbs and settles, it's less noticeable, but there's still a slight stickiness, possibly from the aloe vera.

  Tip

  I found that applying an emulsion over the Soothing Aloe as a moisture-locking layer eliminates any stickiness after absorption.

  This is truly my holy grail product! Since I started using it, I haven't had any blemishes, and even after washing my face vigorously, my skin doesn't feel dry. My skin tends to have deep dryness and tightness, with excess oil on the surface but severely lacking moisture underneath. Emulsions and creams, despite being rich, would leave my face oily without addressing the deep dryness. But this product is absolutely amazing! It balances both surface and deep hydration, significantly reducing my skin troubles. If you have a similar skin type to mine, I highly recommend giving this a try. The bottle is generously sized too. This is a genuine review, not an advertisement – I promise!

  There's absolutely nothing negative to say about this product. Not a single thing...

  Tip

  After using an exfoliating toner, I apply this followed by a thin layer of repair cream. When applying makeup, I use this alone, but it can sometimes cause pilling, so I've been adding a thin layer of emulsion or cream on top.

  I started using this on my girlfriend's recommendation. At first, there was a slight burning sensation, which almost put me off. But after a while, that feeling disappeared, and my skin became more hydrated. Even my blemishes reduced a bit! It has great moisturizing power and absorbs well into the skin.

  It's fantastic for both hydration and soothing. I love applying it generously to a cotton pad and using it as a mask. Sometimes it feels a bit warm when applying, which is apparently due to its antioxidant action. I'm not entirely sure what that means, but I've been using it consistently for two years without any issues, so I'll definitely keep using it.

  It's quite sticky, so if you don't pat it in properly for absorption, you might find hair and dust sticking to your face.

  When your skin feels dry, apply a generous layer and keep patting it in diligently to help it absorb. Instead of tapping lightly, use a pressing motion. It takes about 10 minutes to do this thoroughly, but it's worth the effort when your skin needs a quick boost.

  As someone with super sensitive skin prone to blemishes and redness, and often experiencing deep dryness, I was pleasantly surprised that this product didn't trigger any of these issues.

  Pros

  I used this as a mask after keeping it in the fridge. It has excellent soothing effects! At the dermatologist's office, they mentioned that aloe packs with higher aloe content might cause a burning sensation. However, this one gives a refreshing feeling when applied. It doesn't make your skin blotchy, just a pleasant tingling sensation. Using it occasionally as a mask seems great for skin hydration!

  Cons

  If you don't wash it off afterwards, it leaves a sticky residue which isn't very pleasant.
