Even before I had my personal color analysis done, I felt Ruby Woo was too deep for me, so I searched for another shade and discovered Red Rock! As for the color, it's a much clearer and brighter red compared to Ruby Woo, making it less polarizing and suitable for various skin tones. It's easy to wear without much fuss! If Ruby Woo is like a fully ripened cherry, Red Rock is more like a well-ripened raspberry. When applied fully, Red Rock suits winter cool tones beautifully, and when applied as a gradient for a sheer look, it can work for summer cool tones too! The pigmentation and application are fantastic - the color density is incredibly high, and the pigmentation is so good that you can achieve a vivid look with just one swipe. That's MAC for you! Plus, it's not a retro matte like a crayon, but a smooth velvet-textured matte, so you don't have to worry about it cracking your lips!
ConsThe only downside, which is probably true for most lipsticks, is that it doesn't apply well over lip balm. Other than that, I can't think of any negatives!

The color is fit for royalty, exuding pure elegance. It's a vibrant, bold red reminiscent of a dazzling ruby. Highly recommended for those who love intense, jewel-toned reds. It's like a cool-toned fluorescent shade! If you test it in-store, you'll see it applies much better than Ruby Woo. In my opinion, it has a more luxurious feel. Red Rock is truly the best.
ConsPersonally, I'm not a fan of MAC lipstick packaging, so that's a bit disappointing.

Just a few dabs and it's so vibrant. It's so intense that I haven't dared to try full coverage for everyday wear!
ConsDespite its name, it's not quite a 'Red Rock'. It has more of a pink undertone. It reminds me of the pink staining effect from a certain popular brand...
TipIf you apply it with light dabs on the inner part of your lips over a base of slightly pale rose-beige lipstick, it gives such a youthful look!

I liked it better than Ruby Woo. It's more moisturizing, and it has a slight pink undertone, making it beautiful for both gradient and full lip applications.
ConsThere wasn't really anything I found disappointing!
TipI apply MAC Mangrove as a base and then gradient Red Rock on the inner part of my lips. This combination works hard and is absolutely top-notch.

I received this product as a gift, and the MAC employee recommended this color as a pink-red shade. Pros: 1> The color is absolutely stunning While the MAC staff introduced it as a pink-red, to me it feels like a vibrant red with a hint of pink!! (Maybe I feel this way because I'm a fan of pink lipsticks) The color is truly vivid and bright, it's just so beautiful. I wish I could compare it to other lipsticks, but I haven't tried many well-known shades that everyone's familiar with. It definitely seems to be a clearer, more vibrant red compared to Ruby Woo. 2> Great staying power As expected from a high-end lipstick, it lasts much longer than cheaper alternatives!! I had more to say, but I just accidentally sat on my glasses while writing this and bent the frame... I'm a bit frazzled and forgot what else I wanted to mention... But one thing's for sure - the color is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend it and want to rave about it to everyone.. Oh, I remember now! I always apply lip balm before lipstick, which often leads to what I call the 'yogurt effect' - where the product bunches up on the inner lip line. But with this lipstick, that didn't happen at all!! That's MAC for you - truly impressive.
ConsHmm... There's really nothing to complain about. If I had to nitpick, maybe the price?! As a student, it's a bit expensive for me to use regularly.
TipThe first photo is the original, taken 2 hours after application. The second photo is right after application. Although it has a filter, the actual color is closer to the second photo.

ConsWhile it applies thinly, it feels a bit heavy on the skin and unfortunately accentuates dead skin cells, which is disappointing.
TipIn my opinion, it's great for blending and creating gradient effects.
