This lipstick is a vibrant pink-red color. Personally, I find intense lip colors a bit overwhelming, so I apply it as a gradient. When cool-toned individuals wear this, it's as if they've turned on a fluorescent light on their face - it makes you look incredibly radiant. It doesn't transfer much, and I love the simple packaging design. It's a product I really like.
ConsThe shape of the lipstick when applying was slightly disappointing, but it wasn't a major concern for me.

It suits warm-toned individuals perfectly.
ConsThe staying power is disappointingly low. After a meal, the lipstick is gone, leaving your lips looking parched. The application is a bit stiff, but it's tolerable. However, if you apply it when your lips are dry, it cracks all over, so you need to apply a light layer of lip balm first.

The sellers mentioned it's a cool-toned shade, so if you match it well with your complexion, it's really stunning. As for longevity, those who use MAC products will know what to expect. Since it's a matte product, you need to put a bit of effort into application. But the color is absolutely gorgeous!
ConsBecause the color is so intense, you need to do some base makeup to balance your skin tone. If not applied carefully, the lipstick can look disconnected from your lips.
TipI found that gently patting some foundation on your lips and then applying the lipstick with a lip brush gives a beautiful result.

The color is fit for royalty, exuding pure elegance. It's a vibrant, bold red reminiscent of a dazzling ruby. Highly recommended for those who love intense, jewel-toned reds. It's like a cool-toned fluorescent shade! If you test it in-store, you'll see it applies much better than Ruby Woo. In my opinion, it has a more luxurious feel. Red Rock is truly the best.
ConsPersonally, I'm not a fan of MAC lipstick packaging, so that's a bit disappointing.

Many people told me it suits my fair complexion better than Ruby Woo! However, it has a formula that melts easily in high temperatures, and when applied in its melted state, it doesn't feel like a matte lipstick - it's quite interesting!
ConsLike other MAC lipsticks, the color fades easily from the inner part of the lips. The staying power is just so-so.

It's a vibrant red with a pink base, a bright red that really lights up your face! I usually find reds overwhelming, but this one looks gorgeous both as a gradient and full lip. For reference, I'm a summer cool tone. Compared to my other lipsticks, including Lilentreesly Red, this one is definitely more vivid and cooler. I have too many lipsticks already, but if I ever use this up, I'd definitely repurchase!
ConsBeing from the matte line, it's definitely matte, but not as extreme as Ruby Woo's Retro Matte. It applies smoothly with fantastic color payoff. If you have dry, flaky lips or dislike matte finishes, you'll need to pair this with a lip balm or gloss.

I liked it better than Ruby Woo. It's more moisturizing, and it has a slight pink undertone, making it beautiful for both gradient and full lip applications.
ConsThere wasn't really anything I found disappointing!
TipI apply MAC Mangrove as a base and then gradient Red Rock on the inner part of my lips. This combination works hard and is absolutely top-notch.

I received this product as a gift, and the MAC employee recommended this color as a pink-red shade. Pros: 1> The color is absolutely stunning While the MAC staff introduced it as a pink-red, to me it feels like a vibrant red with a hint of pink!! (Maybe I feel this way because I'm a fan of pink lipsticks) The color is truly vivid and bright, it's just so beautiful. I wish I could compare it to other lipsticks, but I haven't tried many well-known shades that everyone's familiar with. It definitely seems to be a clearer, more vibrant red compared to Ruby Woo. 2> Great staying power As expected from a high-end lipstick, it lasts much longer than cheaper alternatives!! I had more to say, but I just accidentally sat on my glasses while writing this and bent the frame... I'm a bit frazzled and forgot what else I wanted to mention... But one thing's for sure - the color is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend it and want to rave about it to everyone.. Oh, I remember now! I always apply lip balm before lipstick, which often leads to what I call the 'yogurt effect' - where the product bunches up on the inner lip line. But with this lipstick, that didn't happen at all!! That's MAC for you - truly impressive.
ConsHmm... There's really nothing to complain about. If I had to nitpick, maybe the price?! As a student, it's a bit expensive for me to use regularly.
TipThe first photo is the original, taken 2 hours after application. The second photo is right after application. Although it has a filter, the actual color is closer to the second photo.

It's a vibrant, crisp red with just a hint of pink mixed in.
ConsIt does emphasize dead skin cells a bit, but that's to be expected with a matte finish. Make sure to exfoliate before applying.
