It's not overly rich, which can make skin look greasy, but instead has just the right amount of moisture. It absorbs well, leaving my skin feeling hydrated without being too heavy.
ConsThe strong herbal scent might be off-putting for those who are sensitive to fragrances. It has quite a noticeable medicinal smell that some people may find unpleasant.

Using the dropper to dispense small amounts is great for hygiene. It applies smoothly and absorbs well into the skin. It leaves a lovely moisturized feeling. My home tends to be quite dry, so I usually layer multiple skincare products. This one applies lightly and keeps my skin hydrated, which I love! It has a good balance of hydration and richness, making it easy to use for various skin types.
ConsAs many might agree, the fragrance is... well, it's quite divisive. It reminds me of traditional herbal scents. While it does seem to dissipate quickly, it's quite strong and intense when applying it to your face.
TipI often mix ampoules or essences with my makeup. Blending it with base or foundation helps prevent the makeup from looking cakey or settling into fine lines.

Hydration Although I have oily skin, I do need some hydration in winter. However, intensely moisturizing products designed for dry skin types don't usually suit me. Those products often feel too heavy and suffocating, sometimes even causing blemishes or acne overnight. This one, though, provides just the right amount of hydration! Sensitivity While my skin isn't extremely sensitive, it does react quickly to products that don't agree with it. I sometimes get red spots, blemishes, or acne-like bumps. Happily, I didn't experience any of these issues with this product, which was great!
ConsAs many seem to have noticed, the dropper... It doesn't work very well, but since I use small amounts anyway, it wasn't a major inconvenience for me.

Recently, my skin has become less oily, but it feels dry and rough after cleansing. As a new mom, my skin looks more aged, so I was diligent in applying this product with its dual functionality for anti-aging and brightening. The essence has a light consistency, which absorbs well. It quickly sinks into the skin, leaving a lightweight feel that's perfect for my combination dehydrated skin. With consistent use, I noticed a significant reduction in skin roughness.
ConsThere weren't any particular downsides. Overall, I was satisfied with the product.

Despite my oily skin, it absorbs well without feeling heavy, and it does a great job of keeping dryness at bay. The finish feels slightly silky! As for the scent, it has a traditional herbal fragrance typical of Korean skincare, which I personally enjoy. With its gentle, high-quality ingredients, I think most people could use this without worrying about blemishes.
ConsEven though it's a new product, I'm struggling to get much out using the dropper. No matter how hard I try, very little comes out. I wonder if it's just my bottle?

This is my review after using it for 11 days since winning from The Hwahae Testers. 1. Overall impression: It's so gentle that even those with sensitive skin can use it without irritation. My skin feels comfortable, and my complexion has become clearer. It absorbs quickly without sitting on top of the skin. 2. Texture: It's a light, watery serum with a pale coral-pink hue. It absorbs without any stickiness and leaves a soft, matte finish. 3. Scent: Unlike some overpowering traditional herbal scents, this has a pleasant woody aroma, reminiscent of tree roots or bark. The scent lingers briefly after application before fading away. 4. Oil and moisture balance: This is quite unique. It's neither overly hydrating nor rich in oils, yet using this serum improves skin condition and brightens the complexion. I always use it after toner. It's not really a replacement for anything specific, but I layer it between toner and other serums. 5. Lasting power: This might be slightly disappointing for those with dry or combination-leaning-dry skin. It absorbs quickly but also seems to dry out fast. It's a perfect, fresh serum for oily or normal combination skin types. 6. Skin irritation: None at all. It's truly gentle on the skin.
Cons1. Packaging: Many serums and ampoules these days come with dropper bottles, which I find inconvenient. The opening gets messy, the product is exposed to air leading to faster oxidation, and there are potential hygiene issues with dust. Eventually, you end up having to turn it upside down and tap it to get the product out, but you still have to insert and remove the dropper, which leads to wasting product for hygiene reasons. A pump bottle would be much better. 2. Amount: It runs out quickly when using two drops on each cheek, one on the forehead, and half a drop each on the nose and chin. The overall amount is also small, not enough to use as a regular serum. 3. Price: Honestly, I think it's expensive. Although I've only used it for about ten days, I feel the price is high compared to the amount, functionality, and satisfaction level. 4. Repurchase intention: With so many disappointing aspects, I probably won't repurchase it.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThis is a review from The Hwahae Testers. My skin is combination dehydrated, leaning towards dry (with just a hint of oiliness in the T-zone), and I'm prone to small blemishes. Keep this in mind! I was unfamiliar with the brand 'Dewdrop', but the product came with a paper explaining the brand's philosophy, which helped me understand their focus in product development. What I liked: ✅Absorption and application: Even in winter, rich products can feel heavy on my skin, so I prefer layering lighter, hydrating products. This one applies lightly, is very hydrating, and absorbs quickly. After absorption, my skin feels soft, not dry, and deeply moisturized! ✅Effectiveness: It promises whitening, wrinkle improvement, and hydration - and I experienced all three! My complexion looked clearer when applying makeup, even others noticed, and I could see the difference myself. For wrinkle improvement, less makeup settled into my smile lines, and my neck wrinkles seemed slightly better. As for hydration, it addressed my deep dryness, and my makeup cracked less in cold wind. ✅Blemish improvement: I usually have uneven skin texture due to small blemishes, but they subsided and dark spots from old blemishes improved with consistent use. New blemishes would come to a head overnight, making them easier to extract, and over time, I had fewer breakouts.
ConsWhat could be improved: ✔Price vs. quantity: I loved the product and wanted to repurchase, but... 30ml for $45? Is this for real? If it weren't for the price, I'd have stocked up immediately. The small amount for such a high price is disappointing. ✔Scent: The herbal scent is quite strong and might be polarizing. I didn't particularly like it, so I layered an emulsion or cream on top after absorption, which helped mask the scent. ✔Product container: The dropper seems to struggle to draw up the product. I had to open the bottle slightly and pump the dropper several times to ensure it picked up enough product, which was a bit inconvenient.
TipApply consistently to your face and neck for whitening and wrinkle improvement effects! When you first use it, the dropper might not draw up much product. Try opening the bottle slightly and pumping a few times while checking the amount drawn up. After that, it should work better.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThis is a review from The Hwahae Testers! I've used it as much as possible during the trial period to provide this feedback. The positives: First off, it's incredibly gentle, which I really appreciated. My skin tends to be a bit sensitive, but I felt comfortable after applying this. The absorption is remarkably quick. For the first couple of days, it would absorb completely as I was massaging it in. I used a generous amount, filling the dropper completely for each application. I also liked the dropper bottle design, which allowed for clean and efficient use of the product. After application, I could definitely feel an improvement in my skin texture, and it didn't cause any blemishes. As for wrinkle reduction and complexion improvement, I think I'd need to use it more consistently to see results. Being an herbal cosmetic, it has a traditional medicinal scent, which I actually found pleasant and healthy-smelling. For those who might not like it, don't worry - the scent dissipates quickly. Also, I had been experiencing some deep dryness, probably due to winter, but I realized it had disappeared before I knew it. While I wouldn't say it's extremely hydrating, it did seem to provide a good balance of moisture and nourishment.
ConsThe price is a bit steep for the amount you get. I didn't use that much each time, but it looks like I'll finish the bottle in less than a month. I'll have to use up the entire bottle to be sure, but I don't think I've seen results that justify the price yet. It might be fine for summer, but it feels a bit dry for winter use. It does provide hydration, but I felt it wasn't enough to use on its own, so I used it along with a cream.
TipThis would be great for those looking for a lightweight essence. It absorbs very quickly and applies smoothly without leaving any stickiness. There's hardly any oiliness, so it might be more suitable for oily skin types rather than dry skin.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.Pros* This review is based on using the product twice daily for two weeks as part of The Hwahae Testers program. 1) It has a pretty strawberry milk pink color. 2) It applies very smoothly. 3) Despite not being thin, it absorbs quickly. 4) It's made with good ingredients - contains 65 different components. Among all the essences I've used, this one has the most ingredients. I was worried there might be something that wouldn't suit me, but fortunately, I didn't experience any unusual reactions! 5) It's hydrating - however, it might be a bit dry for those with very dry skin. 6) It has whitening and anti-wrinkle properties - I'm not sure about the wrinkles, but I think I've seen the brightening effects. The marks from some recent hormonal blemishes have faded. (I didn't notice with my naked eye, but it's quite noticeable in photos...)
Cons1) There's a plastic smell at first that turns into an herbal scent at the end - It's a product made by an oriental medicine doctor, so it contains quite a few medicinal ingredients. The smell is momentarily unpleasant, but not to the point of being repulsive. 2) The dropper is stiff - I'm not sure if it's because the suction is weak or if it's an issue with the bottle itself, but only a small amount comes out. It feels like I'm using someone else's leftovers even though it's a new product. However, after a week of use, it started dispensing properly. 3) A lot of essence gets stuck on the neck of the bottle [the screw-like part] - I took it on a trip, and even though it never tipped over, the area where the cap closes gets very messy. Thankfully, it doesn't leak. 4) It's expensive for the amount you get - I was able to use it because I was selected for The Hwahae Testers program, but it's too pricey for me to repurchase. If I see exceptionally good results after using it for over a month, I might consider buying it again.
TipSince there might be some incompatible ingredients among the 65 components, it's advisable to start using it on your neck and behind your ears, then gradually expand the application area.

It's also sensitive, so I avoid oils and pore-clogging ingredients. This essence is free from harmful ingredients. As it's created by traditional medicine researchers, it's packed with herbal extracts true to its natural, traditional formula. It has a baby pink color and doesn't drip when applied to the back of your hand. When dispensing with the dropper, it comes out in small clumps rather than individual drops. It looks more viscous than typical essences, but when you spread it, the texture loosens up and explodes with hydration. However, this sensation is brief - it quickly disappears as if absorbed by powder, leaving your skin fresh and soft. It absorbs so quickly that there's no need for patting it in. If you dislike stickiness and prefer a fresh, clean feeling, you'll love this product. It has the same application feel as products containing alcohol or ethanol, but without those ingredients.
ConsIt didn't leave much of an oily feeling on my skin, but the hydration didn't last very long. My skincare routine focuses on soothing and improving skin texture with toner, adding moisture with essence, and balancing oil and hydration with emulsion. While this essence provides some nourishment, it lacks a rich texture and the moisturizing effect doesn't seem to last long. It might be better suited for use in summer when sebum production is high.
TipI'm not sure if there was an ingredient that didn't agree with me or if it caused irritation, but on the third day, I noticed small, red, comedone-like bumps. They were tiny, so I ignored them and continued using the product for two more days, thinking it might have a soothing effect. However, the areas around the bumps became red and painful to touch in three spots: my philtrum, cheeks, and forehead. I stopped using it and switched back to my regular essence. Currently, the bumps on my cheeks and forehead have subsided, but the one on my philtrum turned into a pimple-like bump that I had to squeeze and is now healing. The 2nd photo shows the product being spread, the 3rd shows immediately after application, and the 4th shows absorption after a few seconds.
