  Cons

  This product didn't seem to suit me. Despite the gentle and good ingredients, I woke up the next day with a lot of blemishes. It's the second product that taught me even good ingredients might not work for everyone. Also, the dropper was a bit inconvenient to use.

  Pros

  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. It's a truly honest review! First, when I opened the Dewdrop product, I was so surprised! There was a letter written by the herbalist about the cosmetics, and the essence came in a beautiful case. I was touched by the care and attention to detail. With a positive mindset, I tried it for the first time. The scent has a subtle herbal aroma, which is expected from a traditional medicine-based skincare product. Somehow, this made me trust it more! The essence has a lovely pink color and a slightly heavier texture. The application... it was a whole new experience. Unlike other essences that take time to absorb or leave a slick feeling, this one feels incredibly soft and velvety. After patting it in a few times, my skin felt instantly smooth and supple. While those who prefer intense hydration might not love it, I found it refreshingly light. The biggest advantage of this essence is its brightening effect. Both my family and I noticed this! After just two days of use, I saw a noticeable improvement in my complexion. I was amazed at how much brighter my bare skin looked after cleansing. While other products contain brightening ingredients, I've never seen such significant results in such a short time. Of course, results may vary depending on skin type, but I highly recommend this to anyone interested in herbal skincare and brightening products!

  Firstly, considering the price and that it's only 30ml, the amount of product feels a bit lacking. From the third day of use, I started feeling a tingling sensation, and the next day I suddenly developed small blemishes. I immediately stopped using it, and within two days, the blemishes subsided. I had seen such great brightening results that I continued using it despite the tingling, which may have led to the adverse reaction. From what I understand, herbal cosmetics can be amazing for some people, but for others, they can cause blemishes. As this was my first time trying herbal skincare, it seems it didn't suit me. It's such a shame, so I've been mixing it with my eye cream since then! Interestingly, I didn't experience any irritation around my eyes. So, I'm now focusing on using it to brighten my under-eye area and reduce dark circles!

  Tip

  While I can't apply it all over my face due to blemishes, I've been mixing it with my eye cream. It definitely seems to help with brightening! For those whose skin tolerates it well, you might consider mixing a small amount into your moisturizer for brightening and skin barrier protection benefits.
