As someone with sensitive skin and a slightly oily face, I found this product to be perfect. It's not overly rich, which can make skin look greasy, but instead has just the right amount of moisture. It absorbs well, leaving my skin feeling hydrated without being too heavy. The strong herbal scent might be off-putting for those who are sensitive to fragrances. As a 20-something guy with combination and sensitive skin, I was pleasantly surprised. Despite my super sensitive skin, this essence worked well for me. It's not mind-blowing, but it's definitely decent. If you're usually wary of herbal formulas, I'd recommend trying a sample before committing to the full size. There weren't any standout benefits that caught my eye. While being 'decent' can be a plus, it's also a drawback in this case. My skin is super sensitive, so I usually avoid using essences and creams. But when I tried this one, it felt incredibly hydrating without any stickiness. It's really great for sensitive skin! I had been using my usual Sum37 skincare without any blemishes or issues, but suddenly, for some unknown reason, I started getting breakouts on my chin and even on my forehead where I never had problems before. So, I became a skincare nomad, searching for products that were good for acne. I bought several items and spent a lot of money, but while searching, I realized I needed to use products with good ingredients. That's how I discovered this natural cosmetics brand. I've been using their essence, cream, and even their bar soap for over two weeks now, and my blemishes have definitely calmed down a lot. The essence, in particular, was the best. It absorbs well, and when you layer it, it's incredibly hydrating. There's a slight herbal scent, which I don't mind, but it might be a love-it-or-hate-it thing for some people. Using the dropper to dispense small amounts is great for hygiene. It applies smoothly and absorbs well into the skin. It leaves a lovely moisturized feeling. My home tends to be quite dry, so I usually layer multiple skincare products. This one applies lightly and keeps my skin hydrated, which I love! It has a good balance of hydration and richness, making it easy to use for various skin types. As many might agree, the fragrance is... well, it's quite divisive. It reminds me of traditional herbal scents. While it does seem to dissipate quickly, it's quite strong and intense when applying it to your face. I often mix ampoules or essences with my makeup. Despite the gentle and good ingredients, I woke up the next day with a lot of blemishes. It's the second product that taught me even good ingredients might not work for everyone. Hydration Although I have oily skin, I do need some hydration in winter. However, intensely moisturizing products designed for dry skin types don't usually suit me. Those products often feel too heavy and suffocating, sometimes even causing blemishes or acne overnight. This one, though, provides just the right amount of hydration! Sensitivity While my skin isn't extremely sensitive, it does react quickly to products that don't agree with it. I sometimes get red spots, blemishes, or acne-like bumps. Happily, I didn't experience any of these issues with this product, which was great! As many seem to have noticed, the dropper... Better late than never, here's my Hwahae Testers review again: 1. The dropper bottle allows for hygienic use (and might even be recyclable!) 2. Smooth application + adequate hydration. It feels more hydrating than oily, and seems great for deep dryness. 3. After applying this, my skin feels smoother and brighter. I'll know for sure with more use, but I think it's effective for me. It feels like all the functional ingredients are concentrated in this product. 1. The scent is slightly plant-like? I wouldn't say it's a pleasant sweet fragrance. The smell might be hit or miss for some people. 2. It seems a bit on the pricey side. However, if it proves to be more effective, I'll definitely repurchase it.

I was initially worried about the strong herbal scent, but it turned out to be incredibly gentle. My skin barrier seems stronger, and my complexion looks clearer! It's a bit on the pricey side... The dropper applicator took some getting used to, which was slightly inconvenient.

It has a slight tackiness that makes it easy to apply. I didn't experience any blemishes from using it. This product has a strong herbal scent that might not appeal to everyone. Personally, I didn't mind it, but I didn't see enough results to repurchase. The quantity is quite small too - you'll likely run out within a month.
