It has a slightly viscous texture that absorbs well when applied, giving a nice, firm feel. It's also quite moisturizing, to the point where you could get away with just this and an emulsion. I apply it lightly in summer. I loved it so much I repurchased, and I'm using it together with my mom. The price is reasonable too. I haven't really found any drawbacks. It's not widely available in stores, so I buy it online. However, it's much cheaper online than offline (not really a downside, I guess). - hi*****Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2021
Absorbs smoothly Absorbs well into the skin Excellent hydration A product I've been using consistently for 5 years Need to apply 2-3 layers to feel properly moisturized However, it feels richer with each application Not recommended for those with oily skin - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMar 29, 2021
This has been my holy grail toner so far. It's incredibly hydrating and gentle. I skip the emulsion, applying cream directly after this, and finish with sunscreen. I've been using it for 5 years now. It seems the pump dispenser was redesigned and is no longer available in the current version. - ji*********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 8, 2021
The texture is like a thin emulsion? Although it's called a toner, it feels more like an emulsion. The scent is subtly refreshing and pleasant - not overpowering at all. Thanks to its lightweight formula, it absorbs well and has great spreadability. One pump is enough to cover the entire face. It provides good hydration too. The packaging is pretty, and the lid makes it hygienic. The reason I took off one star isn't due to any major discomfort or side effects. It's just that with 'Centella' in the product name, I had hoped for some skin regeneration benefits, but I didn't see significant results. That's a bit disappointing. - le*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 27, 2020
It's wonderfully hydrating Absorbs well into the skin Makeup applies smoothly over it Has a pleasant scent I was worried it might not suit my sensitive skin, but it worked perfectly fine I wouldn't really recommend this for those with oily skin. It feels a bit rich on the skin - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 20, 2020
In summer, applying this after toner is all you need. It's lightweight and provides just the right amount of hydration, making it great for winter too. It's perfect for summer use and didn't cause any blemishes. The ingredients are slightly disappointing and the packaging isn't very attractive. I occasionally get blemishes... but I'm not sure if it's because of this product. For dry skin, apply this after three layers of toner. Whether you have dry or oily skin, try to minimize your skincare routine. I've gone from extremely dry to slightly dry skin. - ji*******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2020
Great for deep hydration and it really helped clear up my blemishes None to mention - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 8, 2020
The texture absorbs smoothly and feels as moisturizing as a lotion, which seems perfect for dry skin. The amount you get is quite generous too! I can't really think of any downsides. Even though I have acne-prone skin, this product doesn't seem to cause any additional blemishes. I find that just applying this toner followed by a lotion or essence is enough to keep my skin from feeling dry. It's really cut down on my skincare routine time! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 9, 2020
I stumbled upon this product when I ran out of my emulsion and borrowed my mom's skincare. As someone with dry skin that gets flaky white patches on my cheeks every winter, and super sensitive skin that breaks out even with supposedly gentle products like jojoba oil and witch hazel toner, I've been living on the Hwahae app, carefully selecting only products with clean ingredients. However, even though the ingredients were good, everything was still too drying for me. No matter how much horse oil cream or cica balm I slathered on, my skin remained parched. Using this product made me realize I'd been failing to address my deep dryness, just coating the surface instead. Previously, even with a heavy routine of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid toner, watery essence, Physiogel emulsion, moisturizer, and night cream, I'd wake up feeling like my face was about to crack. Now, I just use centella toner and any moisturizing balm, and I wake up without that tight feeling - it's revolutionary! The white flakes that always appeared on my cheeks in winter have vanished, leaving my skin soft and bouncy. This is truly my holy grail product. It made me realize that even if a product contains potentially harmful ingredients, if it's harmless to my skin, that's what matters. I used to despise products with a soft, bouncy texture after a bad experience with Innisfree's purple line, but while this feels similar, it's surprisingly non-irritating. It even cleared up my tiny bumps! I wish they'd remove the fragrance. The scent is too strong, immediately reminding me of my mom's cosmetics when I apply it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2019
It absorbs incredibly well and the hydration lasts for hours. Highly recommended! There's absolutely nothing to dislike about this product. The generous amount and everything else about it is completely satisfying. It's perfect for soothing itchy winter skin - you can even use it as a body lotion without hesitation.
