When I first applied it to my lips, I felt a slight aversion to the scent. But I got used to it quickly, though in my opinion, Mint Rose or Rose were better.

I bought this after trying other good Rosebud Salve lip balms, wondering how this one would be. It works well as a summer lip balm.

After using it for years, I've found the tin case to be quite disappointing. The edges tend to discolor over time, and the lid doesn't close tightly, so I've gotten into the habit of not closing it all the way.
That's why I've recently switched to a tube packaging, and purchased the more spreadable Salv variant instead.

I've tried both the Salv and Mandarin variants, and the texture is slightly firmer compared to Salv. While Salv melts and glides on like a liquid, this one applies a bit more thinly. 
But because of that, I've been using it for a very long time without running out.

If you apply a lip color and then put this lip balm on top, you can create a lovely glossy, hydrated lip look! The moisturizing power also lasts a long time and is great!

The scent might be a bit polarizing,, At first, I thought it was fine, but the more I used it, the more I got tired of it and felt averse to it, so I use it along with several other lip balms!

There are so many of them!! It seems like I've been using it for almost a year, but there's still a lot left... And the tin case is so pretty! I fell in love with this tin case at Olive Young and bought it. It may look like it will have a pretty color payoff, but it's actually colorless. The moisturizing power was also really good! When I apply it generously before bed and sleep, my lips are in such great condition the next day. And it's not too sticky or too oily, so I'm very satisfied!

Apply it before bed and gently rub it off with a towel after washing your face - this is the ultimate way for exfoliation!

If you apply it when you're active (awake), it tends to cause a lot of yogurt-like effects ㅠㅜ So I only apply it when I'm sleeping ㅠㅜ

Apply it before bedtime and it will help with great exfoliation the next day!

In terms of texture, moisturizing ability, and softness, the order would be:
Strawberry < Original < Rose Mandarin
I'd recommend using the strawberry variant for carrying around and using before and after makeup, while keeping the original and rose mandarin at home to use generously before bed or when your lips are in very dry condition.

The tin case lid can be a bit tricky to open sometimes. And the rose mandarin variant in particular has a very soft texture, so it might melt easily in warmer temperatures.
It's not sold in Korea anymore ㅠㅠ Now you can't even find it at places like Olive Young, so I can only purchase it through overseas direct buying.

I've been using the same company's products since I first tried the original Rosebud Salve about 7 years ago. During that time, I've tried the original, strawberry, and this rose mandarin variant, and out of the three, the rose mandarin is the most runny and the most moisturizing. The scent may be divisive, but I've grown accustomed to it after using it for a long time.
I've tried most of the well-known lip balms - from Burt's Bees, Eos, Kiehl's, Carmex, and Paw Paw Cream, to Korean drugstore products and those sold at pharmacies like Manyo and Green Cross. But I haven't found anything that surpasses this lip balm yet. The main ingredients are the same as Vaseline - petrolatum. While Vaseline forms a protective film to prevent moisture loss, these lip balms get absorbed into the lips, making them feel soft and moisturized, and they also do a great job at exfoliating. That's why I always apply this lip balm before bed.

The price range is a bit disappointing, but it's worth stocking up when it's on sale.

This is truly a life-changing product, but why did Olive Young discontinue it?

It's a stick formula, so you have to be careful in the summer... It's heat-sensitive and can melt. Ugh, it's not a big deal when it melts, but when it melts and gets all messed up, it's a total disaster...

I'd like to recommend the tube type, as I've tried both the jar and tube types.
Drawbacks of the jar type:
1. Since the contents are exposed, dust can get on it when in use. If you drop the open jar, it's even worse...
2. You have to scoop it out with your fingers, so your hands need to be clean when applying it.
3. The tin case can get dented if dropped, which can make the lid difficult to open or too loose.

When using it, a small amount of the lip balm can get stuck in the swirling part where the cap locks. Wiping it with a tissue every 2 weeks or so keeps it clean.
