I don't usually wear heavy eye makeup, but I do have eyelash extensions, so I use an eye makeup remover to clean off my eyeliner before cleansing! I've been using The Body Shop products for over 10 years, but I tried this remover for the first time two months ago. First off, it doesn't irritate my eyes. It removes my MAC liquid eyeliner effortlessly - something my regular cleansing oil struggled with. It's great for removing my MAC lipstick too. I just put a bit on a cotton pad and it wipes off easily! It removes makeup gently yet effectively - just perfect! The price is a bit high for the amount you get... But I'll keep using it anyway! I usually use it with a cotton swab or pad to remove just my eyeliner and lipstick. The other day, when I ran out of my usual oil, I used this to remove all my makeup and it was great - no tingling sensation at all! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 16, 2020
While I can't say the cleansing effectiveness is extraordinary, it's not bad compared to other brands on the market. As mentioned above, the only downside is that the cleansing effectiveness is slightly lower than expected. - mo****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2020
This might be the best eye makeup remover I've ever used. Some removers are too oily, and while they remove makeup well, the excess oil gets into your eyes and causes discomfort. Others don't have enough oil, making it difficult to remove makeup effectively. This one, however, strikes the perfect balance. It's not too oily, nor is it too dry, allowing for gentle and effective makeup removal. It's also fragrance-free. The price is quite steep. That's why I usually purchase it at duty-free shops. - hh***Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 18, 2019
I bought this because it was said to be gentle. It definitely had a milder scent and felt gentler on the skin compared to other eye makeup removers, which I really appreciated. It was pricier than typical eye makeup removers. Since I don't wear heavy eye makeup often and my regular oil cleanser works well enough, I didn't end up using it much. It works effectively when applied to The Body Shop cotton pads and held on the eyes for just a few seconds. - so********Normal SkinRecommendedFeb 8, 2019
It removes makeup better than any other remover. No need for a special Heroine Make mascara remover! It's frequently out of stock in physical stores... I hear it's the same situation overseas too. - se****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 5, 2019
1. Great ingredients As someone who wears eye makeup daily, I always use a lip and eye remover since cleansing oils or waters don't remove it well. I discovered this product on Hwahae after searching for lip and eye removers with good ingredients! I'm prone to milia around my eyes, so I'm quite picky about products, but this one doesn't cause any irritation or tingling. 2. Excellent cleansing effectiveness It always removes everything well - eyeliner, 2-3 eyeshadows, mascara, and even brow mascara. 3. Balanced oil content Compared to other drugstore brands I've tried like Innisfree, Etude, L'Oreal, A'pieu, Holika Holika, Laneige, Missha, and Japanese Kose, the oil content isn't excessive. It's just right. 4. Lasts longer than expected At first, I thought it was expensive for such a small bottle, but it lasts quite a while, so it's actually good value for money! 1. Rarely goes on sale The Body Shop only has sales twice a year, so I stock up then. This product rarely gets discounted more than 50% off, and it's often sold out online, so you have to go to the physical store to buy it. 2. Not available in duty-free shops I often check online duty-free shops when The Body Shop has sales, especially before traveling abroad, but they never seem to stock this lip and eye remover. It's not even listed as out of stock - it's just not there at all. It's too precious to use liberally! I separate a 5-ply cotton pad, dampen it, and use it to remove makeup - it still works well! Even though I buy it during The Body Shop's sales and it lasts a while, it's still relatively expensive compared to the frequent big discounts at other drugstores. So I'm using it sparingly! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 2, 2018
The gentle ingredients are fantastic, and it effectively removes even Kissmee mascara without irritating my eyes. It's so pleasant to use! I wish this was sold in our country! Every time I want to buy it, I have to pay $15 for shipping and order it from overseas. Still, I love it so much that I continue to make international purchases! Just spray a suitable amount on a Silcot cotton pad, place it on your eyes for 10 seconds, and then remove. It cleanses thoroughly without any irritation! - ju*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 16, 2018
No stinging sensation in the eyes, and when applied with a cotton pad, it removes makeup gently and effectively while keeping the skin moisturized. It's gentle on the eyes and I really love how it feels. I wish I could use only this product! There are many cheaper alternatives out there... However, I love this product so much that I always wait for it to go on sale! - ol*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2018
It's gentle and has great ingredients. It doesn't cause any tingling around the eyes. I keep repurchasing it every time. The price seems a bit high, but... I'm satisfied compared to other products. Soak a cotton pad or swab generously, then gently press it onto your skin to remove makeup softly. - ba*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2018
I've been using this product long before the volume change, and it's still quite reliable. The container has changed, and the volume has significantly decreased. Yet the price has gone up...
