Pros
I've tried brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Iope, Clio, Missha, Hera, Banila Co., and Verite, and among them, this one was one of the top 1-2 best. 1. Pros
The coverage seems really great. It seems to be able to cover redness and small bumps almost completely, on par with the Missha Tension Pact. The finish has a semi-matte feel, so the skin looks very smooth and velvety right after application. The scent is faintly like green tea or herbs, not too much like an adult cosmetic, which was fine. I'm in the bright 21 shade and my redness tends to come up a bit in the winter, but it was quite bright for me. There were comments that 21 is dark, but when I applied it to my face, it gave a very bright, ivory-like effect, brighter than the Tension Pact 21 shade. The case design is also pretty, with the black and rose gold giving a luxurious feel. The built-in cap closes tightly, which seems to well prevent moisture from evaporating over time. I was so happy to become a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, but unfortunately, this product just doesn't seem to work for me. I have combination skin that's prone to dryness, and this winter my skin has been unusually dry. So I was really excited about the claims of it being moisturizing, but... it wasn't at all moisturizing. Even when I applied it, there was no dewy, moisturizing feel, and over time it just got drier and emphasized my flaky dry patches. I've tried so many different foundations and cushions from Hera, Iope, Banila Co, AHC, Revlon, etc., and this is one of the most matte, drying ones I've used. It's not just matte, but almost like it's sitting on top of my skin, just feeling dry. And it transfers so much - even just lightly brushing against something leaves a mark on it. So over time my face starts to look patchy and uneven, with the areas I don't touch looking white and emphasizing my pores. Contrary to the claims, it's not at all a pink-based shade. It's very yellow-toned, almost like they just divided the 21 and 23 shades without considering the undertone. So I don't think this would work well for those looking for a pink-based foundation. Since I prioritize skin finish over just coverage, I don't think I'll be repurchasing this. It's really disappointing.
Tip
It seems to apply very well even with just a small amount, so it's better to carefully build it up in multiple layers rather than applying a lot at once. This helps with the longevity. It takes a bit of time to really melt into the skin, so absolutely do not touch your face at all right after applying. Don't rub or press it, just gently pat it in, and it will apply beautifully.

It has a clean, purifying scent like phytoncide, and I feel good every time I apply it. 3. Base. The pink base makes my skin look brighter after application (regardless of skin tone). 4. Brightness. I was worried that shade 20 would be too bright, but shade 22 is perfect for my skin tone. 5. Coverage.
