Weighing the pros and cons, the pros greatly outweigh the cons, so I think I'll keep using this product until I find an even better one. My tip is that I put a lot of effort into my skincare base to compensate for the matte finish.

The design seems too young for older middle-aged people to use. The Yves Saint Laurent design is better, so I just buy the refill and use it with the existing case. But I can't bring myself to throw away the old case, so I keep it at home. And while I was hoping for more moisture, it feels a bit dry for my already dry skin.

The coverage and adherence are really good. I switched from the previous Yves Saint Laurent because it's much better value for money. The lasting power is also good enough that I don't feel the need to retouch it for over 5 hours.

1. Matte Finish
Since the coverage is excellent, it does have a slightly powdery feel. So those who prefer a dewy look may not like it. I usually apply a lot of moisturizer, and when combined with the cushion, it can feel sticky and transfer easily, which I didn't like. For those who prefer a hydrating feel, this is not recommended!

Since I've been using this one continuously, the puff feels like it's losing its bounce and resilience quickly.

This is a personal preference, but I don't really like cases with characters on them. However, the gold trim does give it a luxurious feel.

1. Fragrance
As soon as I apply it, there's a green tea-like or aromatic leafy fragrance that feels natural, as if I'm applying the natural ingredients directly on my face. It's different from the typical fragrance in cosmetics - it's a sophisticated scent that I've never experienced before!
2. Color and Coverage
Since color and coverage are important factors for me, I scrutinize them closely. I usually wear shade 21, and while Espoir Porcelain felt a bit pale, this one looks more lively and naturally brightening, probably because it has a pink base. It has less of a yellow undertone compared to Clio, and is somewhat similar to Missha, but I think this one blends better. Missha tends to break down easily...
3. Coverage
It's really great! The coverage is so good that it feels like a product made specifically for coverage. The luminous finish isn't overpowering, not as dewy as Clio's moisture expression, but rather a clean and soft finish. The coverage is as good as Clio's, while Yves Saint Laurent's coverage was disappointingly poor.
4. Puff
The puff also has a natural scent(?). The fragrance makes me feel good when applying, and the puff doesn't get used up quickly, so the application looks great.

Applying face oil before the cushion foundation makes it more hydrating and long-lasting!

This is a before-and-after photo taken in the same location and lighting.

My skin has a lot of yellow undertones, some texture, and not many blemishes or marks.
I used to use the Luna essence, moisture-boosting foundation.

1. Lightweight yet good coverage
It applies very thinly yet adheres quickly to the skin. I dislike heavy makeup and prefer a lightweight, 'no makeup' look, so this is perfect.
A small amount can cover a fairly large area.

2. Tone correction
It effectively corrects the yellow undertones and dullness. I didn't realize how much it showed up in photos until I saw the difference! It evens out the skin around my mouth area really well.
The photos make it look like the makeup is sitting on top, but in reality, it blends in very naturally and brightens my complexion.
A coworker even commented that my skin looked better after I started using this.

3. Satin finish (with sufficient skincare)
I usually prefer a dewy, glowing base, but this has a satin finish with a nice luminosity. It doesn't feel dry or cakey.
The lightweight application and good skincare routine prevent it from looking dry.

4. Lasting power
It lasts until around 3 PM when I apply it in the morning. And it doesn't break down messily!
With the Clio setting spray, it stays put until the end of the day.

5. Fragrance
The floral, herbal scent is not like a typical cosmetic fragrance, which I really enjoy!

I should say the puff is a bit rough. It feels like it minimizes the spreadability, so I applied it with a different puff and it got better.

I have a lot of skin troubles and severe blemishes, but the cushion foundations I've used so far have good coverage.

I have super dry skin, and using the included puff with water instead of the sponge puff makes it adhere a bit better and works great for me.

If you apply too much, it will smear a lot. You have to apply it thinly, so controlling the amount is essential.

The adhesion is amazing! It's fluffy and doesn't smear at all! The high price is well worth it!

I don't have dry skin, but more of a normal-slightly oily type, and I didn't feel any dryness at all. There was also no accentuation of flakiness.
However, if you have severely dry skin, you may find the finish a bit drying.

Pros: I don't like heavy base makeup, but this covers really lightly. It doesn't build up thickly, but rather expresses my skin as if I naturally had good skin.
