This oil I was lucky enough to try really hit the mark - it provided great hydration and suited my sensitive skin perfectly! The texture is just right, not too slippery, and it absorbs surprisingly well. I found that applying a generous layer of moisturizer followed by about 3 drops of this oil, gently patted in, helps maintain hydration for a long time. It's not too heavy for winter use and does a great job of keeping my skin moisturized. The quantity seems sufficient to last through winter and into early spring. Personally, it worked well with my sensitive skin without causing any blemishes. While it may not have a strong calming effect, it seemed to strengthen my skin. I'd recommend this for those who dislike both overly thin and sticky oils - it strikes a perfect balance. It's especially great for people like me with combination dehydrated skin!
ConsWhile there weren't any major downsides, it's worth noting that due to its nature as an oil, even though it's relatively light, it can leave a slightly slick feeling on your palms if you rub it between them to apply. It's less greasy than typical oils, but it's not an ultra-light, quick-absorbing formula. Nevertheless, I appreciated that it still provided that satisfying oil application experience.
TipFor best results, start with your toner and basic skincare routine, then apply an appropriate amount of moisturizer and pat it in to absorb. Follow up with about 3 drops of this oil, allowing it to sink in. This method helps maintain hydration and gives your skin a dewy glow the next day. When you apply makeup, you'll notice that Inner Glow too! You'll understand why people use facial oils and think, 'Ah, so this is why!'

My face gets oily quickly after eating greasy food, so I try to avoid pore-clogging ingredients like shea butter. My usual skincare routine: 1. TheLab by blanc doux Oligo Hyaluronic Acid Toner 2. Etude Soon Jung 10-Free Moist Emulsion 3. Madagascar Moisture Cream I use many products to hydrate my skin deeply due to severe dryness. As the seasons change, I realized I needed to focus on moisturizing, so I was looking for a face oil when I got the chance to try this product! * Fresh finish I thought it might be a bit heavy since it's an oil, but it absorbs surprisingly quickly and leaves a soft, matte finish! After applying moisturizer, I put a drop on my palm, rub my hands together, and press it onto my face. It absorbs rapidly this way! * Clean design While I don't usually pay much attention to packaging, even good skincare products can be off-putting if the design is unappealing. This product, however, has a clean, neutral design that I think most people would find agreeable.
ConsAlthough I haven't used it for long, this product hasn't caused any blemishes. If you're worried that face oil will clog your pores and cause breakouts on oily skin, you can put those concerns to rest. * Some people have the same concern as me Since the oil is used last in the routine, the dropper cap can get a bit slippery. * The price is steep I received this product for free as a Hwahae Tester, but looking at the price, I might hesitate to purchase it myself. + I'm not sure if I'll repurchase yet! I'm new to face oils and want to try others, plus the price is a bit high. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars!
TipSince squalane is an occlusive ingredient, people with very oily skin might find it a bit heavy. I recommend using just one drop. If you're worried it might be too heavy, try mixing a drop with a hydrating (not moisturizing) cream for a balanced application.
