I've used three bottles of this emulsion before discontinuing: Pros: • Convenient pump bottle - Sturdy design that doesn't break easily - Dispenses just the right amount with each pump - Hygienic due to the pump mechanism • Absorbs well - Has the perfect consistency for a true emulsion - Glides on smoothly, almost like in the advertisements • Fresh finish - Leaves skin feeling comfortably matte - Not sticky at all - Yet doesn't dry out the skin - Achieves that perfect oil and moisture balance • Scent - Not unscented - Has a subtle, pleasant herbal fragrance that lifts your mood - Doesn't smell artificial Why I stopped using this emulsion after three bottles: Cons: • Ingredients - While it contains various natural ingredients, it also has unnecessary additives - The multiple natural oils may actually irritate sensitive or allergy-prone skin ➡️ Despite having sensitive skin, I used this with a gentle cream for a while without issues. However, after about two bottles, my U-zone would sting immediately upon application on bad skin days. Though it subsided quickly, I continued use. Recently, the stinging occurred regardless of my skin condition, so I had to stop. • Opaque container - The opaque pump bottle makes it hard to gauge how much product is left - You might be caught off guard when it suddenly runs out • Price - Available at select Lalavla stores and the official website, but quite pricey without the 1+1 deal - When not on sale, there are better value emulsions out there, making this less appealing This works well as a standalone product for oily skin in winter, and it's suitable as a summer emulsion for dry skin types. However, if you have dry skin, you'll need to layer a cream on top. It's not enough on its own for winter use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 14, 2017
The scent isn't overpowering and it doesn't feel sticky. The pump dispenser makes it convenient to use. I have sensitive skin and tried this based on recommendations, but during the cold winter, it doesn't provide perfect hydration. After a while, my skin feels dry. There's nothing particularly bad about it, but I probably won't repurchase! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 22, 2017
- It balances both my oily T-zone and the moisture-deprived area around my mouth. This product really evens out the oil and moisture balance across my entire face! - It's not sticky and feels light, yet absorbs quickly and leaves my skin hydrated. - I find it works better to apply this product generously around the eyes rather than most eye creams. - Some people mention it has a traditional herbal scent, but to me it has a sophisticated, mild fragrance. - Those with dry skin might find it slightly insufficient for winter use. It would probably be perfect for summer though! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 15, 2017
A Watson's staff member recommended Atoclassic instead of my usual Physiogel, and I'm so glad I tried it! It's incredibly hydrating without feeling sticky. My husband and I both use it now. I have dry skin, while he tends to have redness, and he swears his complexion has improved! This product is definitely a must-try, we love it! It might feel a bit heavy during summer. I have dry skin, so I prefer rich moisturizers year-round, but if you have oily skin, you might want to use just a tiny amount in warmer months. I recommend purchasing this when it's on sale at Watson's for the best value.
