It's not greasy but moisturizing, with great ingredients. When applied with sunscreen, it creates a perfect base for makeup to adhere well. There's nothing to complain about! I've been using it for five years, but suddenly it's out of stock and not being restocked. Please, please start production again! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2020
As someone with dry skin, this product really helps stabilize my complexion. I particularly appreciate its slightly rich texture. I don't have any negative comments yet. I've heard it's been reformulated, but I think I'll need to try it myself to know for sure. - 06**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 26, 2019
As someone with extremely dry skin needing a balance of oil and moisture, and super sensitive skin that can't tolerate just anything, I've tried many emulsions. This one has a generous size and provides amazing hydration! While it feels a bit heavy in summer, it's absolutely perfect for winter! It's so gentle that it doesn't cause any blemishes, and I used it extensively during the colder months! It can feel a bit heavy in summer, even for my very dry skin! While it's incredibly gentle, the recent product reformulation seems to have made it slightly incompatible with my skin. I'm not sure what exactly changed, but it started causing some itchiness on my face, so I had to switch to something else. Of course, it's possible my skin has changed too. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedAug 14, 2019
I love the fresh scent. It has a nice balance of both richness and hydration. The moisturizer absorbs well and feels light on the skin. It's perfect for spring, summer, and fall use. Due to the pump's design, it doesn't dispense a large amount at once. This is both a pro and a con... The advantage is that you can control how much you use, but the downside is that you need to pump multiple times if you want to use more product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 11, 2019
I'm really liking this! A friend recommended it to me, and I think it's pretty good. For those with oily skin like mine, it might feel a bit slippery. It seems some people with oily skin might find it doesn't quite suit them. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2019
The hydration power is incredibly good, and being a cream type, it suited me exceptionally well It was so good that I can't really think of any downsides!!! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2019
The pump dispenses just the right amount (it's convenient to use without any hassle. I wish all cosmetics came in containers like this...). It leaves a soft, powdery finish. Plus, you get a generous amount of product. I don't recommend this product because: 1. The scent is off-putting (it gives me a headache). 2. It causes a tingling sensation. - na****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2019
Compared to the Ato Essence, this product offers a more generous amount. I think it's worth trying for those with atopic dermatitis, blemishes, or super sensitive skin. My skin type is combination dehydrated with sensitivity and small bumps, but after using this product, I've seen noticeable improvements. I'm now on my 8th bottle! A friend of mine with severe atopic dermatitis said it became their holy grail after just 3 months of use. If you're in Seoul, head to the Lala Blah store in Konkuk University area - they're selling it at this price with a buy-one-get-one-free deal, so go grab it now! They used to give out samples too, but I'm not sure if they still do. The texture isn't too rich or overly hydrating. Recommended for summer use! The price isn't particularly cheap, and it can be quite difficult to find in stores. Also, the packaging feels a bit excessive. Make sure to visit the Lala Blah store in Konkuk University area! You can buy it at this price with a buy-one-get-one-free deal! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2019
As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts badly to the slightest mismatch, I've been consistently repurchasing this product for nearly three years. I love how it gently moisturizes without causing any major blemishes. The opaque container makes it impossible to check how much product is left. It's also a bit pricey. To be honest, though, this has been almost a holy grail for me, so I can hardly find any real drawbacks. - mu*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityFeb 4, 2019
I've used three bottles of this emulsion before discontinuing: Pros: • Convenient pump bottle - Sturdy design that doesn't break easily - Dispenses just the right amount with each pump - Hygienic due to the pump mechanism • Absorbs well - Has the perfect consistency for a true emulsion - Glides on smoothly, almost like in the advertisements • Fresh finish - Leaves skin feeling comfortably matte - Not sticky at all - Yet doesn't dry out the skin - Achieves that perfect oil and moisture balance • Scent - Not unscented - Has a subtle, pleasant herbal fragrance that lifts your mood - Doesn't smell artificial Why I stopped using this emulsion after three bottles: Cons: • Ingredients - While it contains various natural ingredients, it also has unnecessary additives - The multiple natural oils may actually irritate sensitive or allergy-prone skin ➡️ Despite having sensitive skin, I used this with a gentle cream for a while without issues. However, after about two bottles, my U-zone would sting immediately upon application on bad skin days. Though it subsided quickly, I continued use. Recently, the stinging occurred regardless of my skin condition, so I had to stop. • Opaque container - The opaque pump bottle makes it hard to gauge how much product is left - You might be caught off guard when it suddenly runs out • Price - Available at select Lalavla stores and the official website, but quite pricey without the 1+1 deal - When not on sale, there are better value emulsions out there, making this less appealing This works well as a standalone product for oily skin in winter, and it's suitable as a summer emulsion for dry skin types. However, if you have dry skin, you'll need to layer a cream on top. It's not enough on its own for winter use.
