The color is unique and beautiful. It's not an overpowering hot pink, but rather a subtle yet lively pink that brings life to your lips. The application is smooth, living up to Shu Uemura's reputation for quality. Since the color isn't very intense, it tends to highlight dead skin cells a bit when applied to the lips. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2020
M CR 344 is a matte pink shade. As someone with darker lip contours, this lipstick makes me look radiant, and the color is beautiful. I've been applying it frequently, and I'm almost running out of it! Due to its matte nature, it tends to settle into fine lines and cling to dead skin cells. When applied heavily on the inner arm (see photo), you can notice tiny particles forming. This is probably why it clings to the lips. It doesn't spread evenly, so you need to blend it out. After applying the lipstick, pat or gently rub it to ensure even coverage. In the third photo, you can see that applying too much product in one area leads to clumping and excess. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSep 29, 2018
The color is a lovely soft pink. It's perfect for spring. Personally, I don't understand why Supreme Matte is so popular. It's too matte and the application isn't great. Even with a lip primer, it cracks and causes dead skin cells to flake. It feels like applying a crayon that's lost all its moisture. While this shade isn't particularly dark, which might make these issues more noticeable, even the darker colors seem to have similar problems. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 4, 2018
The color is beautiful! It makes me feel like a spring maiden. The actual color on the lips is a lovely pink coral. I can't believe it. I have five lipsticks from Shu Uemura's matte line, and this is the only one that emphasizes dead skin cells. I thought maybe I was having a bad skin day, so I tried it again another day, but it still accentuated flakiness... I'm shook! I'm so disappointed, I'm at a loss for words. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJul 3, 2018
☆ This is CR 342 ☆ Recommended for those who look great in pink. It might suit slightly fairer complexions even better. The color is incredibly natural. Simply put, I recommend it... haha Since it's a matte type, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells a bit more, so you might want to exfoliate before applying. I've tried to capture a photo that matches the actual color as closely as possible. It also looks beautiful when layered with something slightly glowy on top. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 21, 2017
I'm sure you all know Shu Uemura lipsticks are great. As someone with a deep undertone and leaning towards summer cool, this shade really suited me! It's a beautiful pink with a hint of coral. Given its matte formula, it did settle into fine lines a bit. But everything else about it was fantastic! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 16, 2017
The color itself is pretty. It looks delicate with a fluorescent pink coral feel. I bought it just looking at the online swatches, and it was a huge disappointment. The blog photos are mostly edited, so the color looks really pretty and has a slightly deeper feel, but the actual color has a lot of white undertones and a strong pink tone, so it would be hard for most people to match it perfectly. The most disappointing part was the accentuation of flakes and wrinkles... Shu Uemura's matte lipsticks are known to be famous and smooth, so I expected a quality similar to Yves Saint Laurent's. But after applying, it creases into the wrinkles horribly in just a second, and it doesn't even come off or get corrected easily. And it magically brings out flakes that weren't even there before.
