The color is unique and beautiful. It's not an overpowering hot pink, but rather a subtle yet lively pink that brings life to your lips. The application is smooth, living up to Shu Uemura's reputation for quality. Since the color isn't very intense, it tends to highlight dead skin cells a bit when applied to the lips. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 20, 2020
Shu Uemura lipsticks truly deliver vibrant yet subtle hues with a formula that absorbs well, feeling velvety without drying out your lips! I use shade 344, which complements warm complexions beautifully. If you find it a bit intense, it works wonderfully as a light blush or eyeshadow too! The packaging leaves something to be desired as it quickly becomes grimy. The outer layer tends to peel off and it seems to attract dirt easily. I feel like some domestic drugstore brands actually have better packaging. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2020
The color is gorgeous! It's a bit intense for a full lip application, but when I apply MAC's Runway Hit first and then this on the inner part of my lips, it looks absolutely stunning. The color is super vibrant! There are no downsides, honestly! - es******Combination SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2020
M CR 344 is a matte pink shade. As someone with darker lip contours, this lipstick makes me look radiant, and the color is beautiful. I've been applying it frequently, and I'm almost running out of it! Due to its matte nature, it tends to settle into fine lines and cling to dead skin cells. When applied heavily on the inner arm (see photo), you can notice tiny particles forming. This is probably why it clings to the lips. It doesn't spread evenly, so you need to blend it out. After applying the lipstick, pat or gently rub it to ensure even coverage. In the third photo, you can see that applying too much product in one area leads to clumping and excess. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 16, 2019
1. Absorbs well It glides on smoothly and absorbs effortlessly! The application was really nice. 2. Design The Shu Uemura lipstick design is truly sleek and beautiful. 1. Color payoff It shows up as a neon pink shade, which doesn't suit my warm complexion. 2. Emphasizes dead skin cells and settles into wrinkles If you don't exfoliate before applying, it really highlights flaky skin and settles into fine lines. 3. Longevity Perhaps it's because it's a lipstick, but the staying power isn't great. It seems to wear off completely after eating or within about 3-4 hours. The color payoff is somewhat neon pink, so I'd recommend it for those with cool undertones. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 14, 2019
The color is truly beautiful. It's a shade that perfectly complements spring and summer looks. The lipstick itself is gorgeous. It's excessively matte, causing dead skin cells to become visible. It settles into fine lines, and the staying power isn't great. Due to its matte finish, I recommend applying lip balm first before putting on this lipstick. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2019
It's truly creamy as the name suggests, and the color payoff is absolutely gorgeous! You really need to take excellent care of dead skin cells. Even the slightest bit will make them stand out like crazy! If you manage your dead skin cells well and just apply it casually, it looks beautiful. Proper exfoliation is an absolute must! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedNov 7, 2018
The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's perfect for a light application when heading to work. I usually dislike bold shades as they're a bit overwhelming for me, but this one is a soft coral? It looks so natural, and I'm genuinely in love with this color. I'm not sure if it's because I have a lot of dead skin cells on my lips, but it seems to accentuate them quite noticeably. I guess that's unavoidable. Also, I wouldn't recommend this to those who prefer vibrant or deep colors! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedOct 31, 2018
The color suits my warm skin tone perfectly. It applies smoothly and evenly, but the color doesn't last very long. The staying power isn't great. You need to reapply it frequently to maintain the color. - tj*********Oily SkinSep 29, 2018
The color is a lovely soft pink. It's perfect for spring. Personally, I don't understand why Supreme Matte is so popular. It's too matte and the application isn't great. Even with a lip primer, it cracks and causes dead skin cells to flake. It feels like applying a crayon that's lost all its moisture. While this shade isn't particularly dark, which might make these issues more noticeable, even the darker colors seem to have similar problems.
