The color is unique and beautiful. It's not an overpowering hot pink, but rather a subtle yet lively pink that brings life to your lips. The application is smooth, living up to Shu Uemura's reputation for quality.

The packaging leaves something to be desired as it quickly becomes grimy. The outer layer tends to peel off and it seems to attract dirt easily. I feel like some domestic drugstore brands actually have better packaging.

Shu Uemura lipsticks truly deliver vibrant yet subtle hues with a formula that absorbs well, feeling velvety without drying out your lips! I use shade 344, which complements warm complexions beautifully. If you find it a bit intense, it works wonderfully as a light blush or eyeshadow too!

The color is gorgeous! It's a bit intense for a full lip application, but when I apply MAC's Runway Hit first and then this on the inner part of my lips, it looks absolutely stunning. The color is super vibrant!

After applying the lipstick, pat or gently rub it to ensure even coverage. In the third photo, you can see that applying too much product in one area leads to clumping and excess.

Due to its matte nature, it tends to settle into fine lines and cling to dead skin cells. When applied heavily on the inner arm (see photo), you can notice tiny particles forming. This is probably why it clings to the lips. It doesn't spread evenly, so you need to blend it out.

M CR 344 is a matte pink shade. As someone with darker lip contours, this lipstick makes me look radiant, and the color is beautiful. I've been applying it frequently, and I'm almost running out of it!

The color payoff is somewhat neon pink, so I'd recommend it for those with cool undertones.

I didn't test it in the store, I received it as a gift... The name is Coral, but it actually swatches as a slightly yellow-tinted neon pink on me. It's a difficult color for me to pull off.
