There's a definite pink undertone, and it's on the darker side. When applied to the eyelids, it might look a bit like a bruise... it's a bit tricky. It's best used for specific looks. Even though both are grayish-brown, Kate 37 has a hidden khaki tone, while Gray Cat has a hidden pink undertone. From top to bottom: (Gray Cat 1st swatch - Kate 37 1st swatch - Gray Cat 3rd swatch - Kate 3rd swatch) (Flash off/on). For everyday gray shading, Kate 37 is better, but for a unique, mysterious look, Gray Cat would be perfect.
ConsThe color payoff becomes intense quickly, so you need to apply it with a very light brush stroke. It applies too heavily when used with fingers, so it's not great for carrying around and touching up on the go.
TipI'm not sure what to use for base shading. If anyone has any pro tips, please share!
