What I found most satisfying is that the color isn't strictly for eyes or brows only. You can use it for your brows, as eyeshadow, and even for subtle contouring! The shadow has a puzzle piece embossed design. 'Grey Cat' is a soft grey color that doesn't look overly cool-toned. At first glance, it appears quite grey, but it's not dull or dreary at all. I love this shadow mainly because of how softly it applies... The lecithin-coated powder is said to provide a smooth and soft feel, and it's true! The soft application is just wonderful. I tried applying it with my fingers, and it definitely adheres well and gives more intense color payoff this way. The color that shows up is almost exactly what you see in the pan, which I absolutely love! I applied two layers on my eyes. One layer gives a really natural look. With two layers, like I did, you get more noticeable depth and dimension. Even then, it's not overpowering or too intense. I think it's because even though the color has grey undertones, it applies in a soft tone.
ConsHowever! If you rub too hard with your fingers, the powder might clump up. Since the shadow is soft and fine, there's naturally some fallout when using a brush.

It adheres well to the skin when applied with fingers. That's about all the positives I can think of.
ConsWhile the powder is finely milled, there's significant excess when applying with a brush. You might need to stick to finger application. As for the color range, it's often touted as a must-have for cool tones, but whether due to high expectations or a reformulation, the shades seem quite ordinary. For those with light undertones, it might look too ashy as an eyeshadow, and it's too pigmented to recommend as a contour. For reference, in the swatches: First color: [Matte] Milk Tea Second color: [Matte] Nude High Heels Third color: [Shimmer] Nude Lace Fourth color: [Shimmer] Linen Shirt Fifth color: [Shimmer] Unicorn Hair Sixth color: [Matte] Grey Cat

Holika Holika is the go-to brand for these non-glittery eyeshadows. The color payoff is excellent. I'm thoroughly satisfied.
ConsThere's a bit of excess powder fallout. However, it's not a major issue. You just notice it's a bit powdery, that's all.

It's great as a base and can also be used for contouring. The quality is excellent, as it's manufactured by Cosmax.
ConsThe color is a bit ambiguous - a grayish-brown. The pigmentation is very weak, so even after multiple applications, it's barely noticeable. There's some excess powder fallout.
TipIt would be better to apply this with a brush.

I was curious about Holika Holika's shadow line since it's not very well-known, so I decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, instead of brown as it appears, it actually applies as a gray shade. When applied to the eyes, it creates an incredibly sophisticated look.
ConsThe case was more difficult to open than I expected, which was a bit frustrating. While there's some excess powder when applying with fingers, using a brush definitely helps achieve a more defined shadowing effect. It's a product that truly shines when applied with the right tools.

But there's also a slight hint of red mixed in. I bought it for nose contouring, but wow, the pigmentation is intense since it's actually an eyeshadow. It might be a bit much for a natural contour look... (Check out the comparison shot with Missha's Cotton Contour in Smoked Hazel below. Both photos are minimally edited to match real life. The first photo is 99.9% true to the actual color. In the arm swatch, the darker one is Holika Holika. Missha is specifically made for contouring. Missha was so light it barely showed up on camera or to the naked eye, so I applied it about 3 times. The Holika Holika Grey Cat is just one swipe. Even with just one application, it comes out incredibly pigmented. I guess this shows the difference between a contour product and a proper eyeshadow. When looking at the pans, Missha and Holika colors seemed 98% identical, but Holika has a slightly redder tone. I was surprised to see such a difference in the swatches when the colors looked so similar in the pan!)
ConsAs mentioned above, it might be challenging to use this as a contour. Since it's an eyeshadow, the pigmentation is quite strong, making it difficult to use for contouring. There's also some excess powder kickup.
TipThe strong gray undertone makes this great for cool-toned folks! As a bright spring myself, this makes me look super dull, dark, and ashy... Given its intense pigmentation, I wouldn't really recommend using this for contouring.

Color The color turned out really well. It's a pure gray-brown without any red or yellow undertones, which is perfect for contouring. 2. Price point It's great that it's not a high-end brand, so the price is quite affordable. 3. Pigmentation It's pretty good. The color builds up nicely as you layer it.
Cons1. Excess powder There's a bit of fallout. You need to tap off the excess before applying.
TipThe color itself is so pretty that it works well as an eyeshadow for contouring the eyes. Also, this contour shade without any yellow undertones is perfect for facial contouring. It looks incredibly natural when used for nose contouring.

The pigmentation is great and the design is beautiful!
ConsThe strong pigmentation means there's some excess powder fallout... But aside from that, it's really a fantastic product!

I've tried so many products that either turn too red or too yellow, but this one gives the perfect shadow color. It's absolutely fantastic!
ConsThere's quite a bit of excess powder fallout, which is a shame. However, it doesn't affect the overall performance when using it.

I bought all the matte shades as soon as they came out, but this is the one I use the most. Although it's meant for eyebrows, I use it daily for contouring my nose, under the lips, aegyo sal, and jawline rather than on my eyelids. While Holika has a blush line with contour shades, I find the color of Grey Cat to be much better.
ConsThere's a bit of excess powder fallout... But without it, the color payoff would be less intense. So I don't really consider it a downside.
TipI don't have any specific tips, but the case fully opens up, making it easy to hold between your fingers while using. You can also control the amount of product on the lid. Since it's a slightly powdery shadow in a clear case, the surroundings tend to get messy, so remember to wipe it clean with a wet wipe occasionally.
