I've gone through several bottles of this because it's so reliable. I keep using it since it doesn't cause any blemishes on my face. After using it for a long time, I've recently started experiencing a burning sensation, redness, and tingling. It's strange because looking at the ingredients, there's nothing that should cause this. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 25, 2020
I bought this Darphin product at Trader Joe's because of the brand's good reputation. I have acne-prone skin with frequent breakouts, and my skin type is oily on the surface but dry underneath. I used this product for about 6 months before I knew about the Hwahae app. From my perspective, there weren't many positives about this product... I just tried it because I heard Darphin was good. After using it for about 2 months, I kept getting bigger blemishes, and eventually they spread to my neck... But then I learned from the Hwahae app... It turns out the product contains many ingredients that can trigger allergic reactions... No wonder my face would occasionally feel itchy... After discovering the ingredients through the Hwahae app, I stopped using this product... Now I only choose products with good ingredients that rank in the top 5 on the app. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 3, 2019
Feeling fancy using Darphin! Love the luxurious feel, pretty color, and how smoothly it applies. That's about all the positives I can genuinely say. Oh boy, I should've checked the ingredients more carefully... Sensitive skin folks, steer clear! My face is itching like crazy. When I applied it, there was this stinging sensation. Instead of waking up to better skin, my complexion actually darkened, as if I got a tan. Not good. Still, it's Darphin, so I tried it on my neck to not waste it... Big mistake. Got all blotchy, broke out in a rash, and had an allergic reaction. You know those bumpy mosquito bites? Yeah, like that. The itching is unbearable - I've tried wiping it off with alcohol and Daktarin alternately, but it's still so itchy. I'm prone to cosmetic reactions, but this is next level. At this point, I'm scared to even use it on my feet. Expensive doesn't always mean better. If I'd known, I would've just bought the Etude Collagen Cream instead. Maybe your feet would appreciate this more than your face - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 28, 2019
It wasn't very sticky at all. Plus, it really did a great job as a cream. It gives a slightly itchy sensation. Also, it feels a bit greasy. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 31, 2019
It absorbs well and feels lightweight, making it perfect for summer use. It gives a refreshing sensation. As I have super sensitive skin, I felt a burning sensation and itchiness after applying. The next day, my face looked swollen and red all over. The fragrance also seems quite strong to me. While it's light and refreshing, it doesn't seem to provide exceptional hydration. It feels like it evaporates quickly. However, my mom, who also has sensitive skin but not as severe as mine, finds it fine and continues to use it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 16, 2019
Oh no, oh no, oh no... I made the mistake of not checking the ingredients before buying this product. It turns out it contains 11 potential allergens - yikes! I used it last night, and my face was itchy all night long. When I woke up this morning, my entire face had turned bright red! I had to throw it away. What a waste of money! If you have acne-prone, oily, or super sensitive skin, please avoid this product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 24, 2018
It has a gentle, cooling sensation and a pleasant scent. For combination dehydrated skin, it's suitable for use year-round, except during summer. I loved the Idéal Resource Cream so much that I bought this without hesitation. However, after using it, my face became itchy. When I checked the ingredients, I was shocked to find many potential allergens. On particularly dry days, the area around my mouth feels a bit tight. It might be beneficial to apply a second layer around the mouth area. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 4, 2018
A decent moisturizer... Probably great for summer use! Recommended for normal to oily skin types rather than dry skin. Unfortunately, the hydration doesn't last very long... That's a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 12, 2017
I love the scent and texture. The fragrance is pleasant, and it has a refreshing gel-like consistency that's not sticky. It feels like you could apply it generously. However, when I use this, my face gets incredibly itchy. I kept using it, thinking it couldn't be this product (it seemed so refreshing and promising), but I eventually had to give up. Just because it's expensive and everyone else loves it doesn't mean it works for me. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 27, 2017
The texture is closer to a cream than the gel I expected. It absorbs well, but I noticed dimethicone in the ingredients list... After application, I experienced localized itching on my face. At first, it seemed neither good nor bad, so I continued using it to get my money's worth. However, after a week, I noticed thicker dead skin cells and small bumps appearing, suggesting it doesn't balance oil and moisture well. The hydration is underwhelming, and it feels richer than expected...
