The moderately thick texture applies smoothly and is recommended for dry skin types that need an occlusive layer.
Generously applying it before bed results in greatly improved skin condition.
This is a great product for dry skin types to maintain hydration during the winter season.

When I first apply it, it doesn't absorb into the skin immediately, almost like an ointment. But Aesop products, including their hand cream, are known to have no artificial ingredients that help with absorption, which is why it takes a while to fully sink in. So I've been applying it and then gently patting it in to help it absorb. I wouldn't recommend it as a pre-makeup base, as the matte finish can cause foundation or cushion products to cling and create uneven patches.

I used the sample and then went to the store the next day, expecting to pay around 70,000-80,000 won, but it was 140,000 won, which shocked me. However, since I had already experienced the benefits, I thought it was worth trying at that price, and I've been using it for quite a long time.

I received a sample and applied it after my nighttime skincare routine. Even when I went to work the next day with a bare face, my colleagues asked what I had done because my skin texture had improved so much. I was so tempted that I went to the store and bought it the very next day. It has a completely matte finish without any oiliness, which I love. The store staff said it's a regenerating cream, and I think that's accurate. When my skin is very sensitive, applying it helps soothe and improve the texture. It's a bit pricey considering the amount, but I've been using it for a while now! It also works great as a night cream when mixed with the Aesop toner.

As expected, the price... 140,000 won is actually enough to go to a dermatology clinic... I really hesitate to repurchase it, haha.

Those who know about quick drying will likely enjoy this... It has a sense of penetrating deep into the skin... It pairs perfectly with the Propolis Essence. The Aesop fragrance neutralizes the unpleasant smell of propolis.

Of course, since this was not enough for me, I applied some oil on top afterwards haha

The moisturizing power was better than expected! It has a slightly minty feeling, but the application wasn't as thick as I thought. I think it would be quite satisfactory for anyone who isn't extremely dry-skinned.

I didn't think my skin was that sensitive, but I realized that's not the case after applying this. As soon as I put it on, it stung and the entire area where the cream touched became irritated, making me consider washing my face again. Once it was absorbed, the stinging sensation went away, and there was no redness. I'll have to observe a little longer to see if it causes any breakouts.

The cream texture is thick, but it is fully absorbed when applied. The absorption time is not too long, which is good. If you apply it all over your skin, it creates a protective layer, so it seems like it can withstand the biting winter wind for those with very dry skin.

It doesn't absorb well at first and sits on the surface. But if you pat it in and cover it with your palms, it sinks right in. From that point on, it becomes incredibly moisturizing and the dry, tight feeling disappears. So the extra effort is worth it...

My skin tone feels more even. Am I the only one who feels this way? I haven't seen this mentioned in other reviews. But my skin tone has brightened and evened out, making my skin look better. The surface isn't overly sticky and is matte, while the inside has become incredibly moisturized and no longer feels tight! That's why I'm on my fourth jar of this cream.
